Correct if you look at the bowl/plunger it has a distinct rim at the bottom. This BB-8 head has sort of a small slanted lip the bottom. I imagine that the body will also be brand new pieces and not the globe pieces because they aren't that strong to be played with. I imagine they went all out for this one. I am hoping for a magnetic connection.

I thought the same thing but I wasn't quite sure. I am glad someone else saw it too.

When do we get to see this Sith Infiltrator I kept reading about? I keep coming back to check but the topic has transitioned to things that might or might not happen in Rebels.

With the new set information and prices being released I wonder if we will be getting a new Star Destroyer type ship. I do realize the priciest of those would probably be the Millennium Falcon because the piece count seems right but perhaps in the future we will be seeing a new version of a Star Destroyer?

Yeah the instruction manual color was way way off. Kind of disappointing considering this was my first UCS set. Although I am NOT disappointed with the model.

I also wish there was dark blue. There are a few other pieces when building the Jango version that are inaccurate. I would also love some 1x4 slopes in dark blue and in bley.

Actually I had to bricklink most of them. I found every photo of the model that I could and made a list of what pieces I needed.

Best set I have ever purchased. It is a beast.

As far as Cloud City I would be interested in a new Cloud Car. The last minifig scale set we got was 2002! There still could be some hope for a Cloud City themed set.

Not to change the subject but are UCS releases only available at The Lego Store or do they show up at Toys R Us as well? Or anywhere else?

I can do without a new Vader helmet. I'd be more excited for a 4-lom or some other character we haven't had before.

We need a new Jango Fett Slave 1 in 2015.

When I try to look at pre-orders it still only says available January 1st. Did they remove the ability to pre-order?

On lego reddit there is a beautiful photo of the new Slave 1 set up at a Lego store. Anyone else seeing this thing in the wild?

Hopefully 4lom comes along with a decent inexpensive set. However I plan on picking up the Slave 1 anyhow so I suppose it would have been nice to get him. The figs with the Slave 1 are rather disappointing.

I'd spring the 50 extra bucks for this set.

I would be surprised if there was much of an interior. I am sure most of the inside is holding it together. Just look at the recent At-At-most of it is taken up by technic. And since I am sure this thing is super heavy it probably needs a lot of internal support. The UCS slave 1 I made last year was pretty similar in size and I had to jam pack the internals with technic as well. Le sigh.

Now the wait for the official lego press release where we get to see all of the features. I am hoping they have a detailed sand green back with some beautiful engines.
