Nice review! I have the 2007 version, and I think that that one is more satisfying to me at only $30 when I bought it. I would still love to have the new Panka and Padme!
Wow, this thing is a monster! Those bounty hunters and the hologram were very nice touches. $400 is way too much for me though, so I will unfortunately be passing on this one.
Macaroni slopes are the are the large, curved, dark green pieces that were first found in the Slave I. Look at the silver color pieces that truly look like macaroni in thisphoto.
I agree that the Mothership and smaller UFO sketch models look better than the final versions. I would have really liked some of those grey macaroni slopes.
Wow, awesome! I took a look at the preview and it seems like there are a lot of things that are very intriguing, like the mecha instructions. I might have to buy this issue!
Yea, thats what I thought too.
Anyways, I know that drawing a dry-erase marker over the Sharpie takes it away and then rubbing it off with one of the dry-erase marker erasers or your finger takes it off of some surfaces, but I have yet to see whether or not it works on Lego.
Thanks! Yes, one of the cannons is missing because of the oarlock. If the cannon level was moved a stud forward, then a cannon would fit, but then I couldn't fit everything else very well, so I just had to stick with a missing cannon.
That Bacta Tank Luke looks like it would be very useful in a lot of SW or Sci-Fi MOCs. Also, I notice the medical droid that came with Palpatine's Shuttle last year. I assume that that would be paired with the injured Luke?
Wow, great review and great job on finding this set so early! This set will be a parts pack for me since I really need some more leaves and brown pieces. But really, I wouldn't even think about this set if it weren't for those amazingly awesome Ewoks .

This is the HMS Battle Shark, equipped with 8 cannons and ready for whatever the enemy can throw at her! This was my first time building micro-pirates, and it was inspired by the use of the rowboat on this mini Flying Dutchman.
