  1. this is late. but thanks grum64 for your advice. I honestly believe your advice is 100% heartfully real. Yes, I understand people's skeptism of me and I don't blame them. Yes, I am very careful on this adventure. I usually keep in mind that 98% of patents never makes any money. I will probably be in the 98%, but I think I must move foreward as the idea is good. But I have to lose money on the patent. Global patent is scarier. I even set conditions for myself to quit, but both of conditions were cleared last two weeks. The only thing that could stop me now is running out of cash. The final products is finished. All the dimensions and sizes are definite. I have cleared the patent search phase and we are in the written phase. I have already spoken with plastic manufacturer and the product is feasible. Please wait 2.5-3 years(maybe sooner), I'll bring a new toy to the world. Let's play together one day.
  2. Hi, nstickney, I don't blame you for not believing. Hopefully, I'll be vindicated in 5-10 years. Here's a thought. The number of toy developers working in a toy company versus the billions of outside people, which side is more likely to come up with a new concept? The employees usually update the same toy with a twist like... scientist Barbie, teacher Barbie, pregnant Barbie... while the outsider has to break into the market with something new. Since the folks were agreeing to the idea that it was unimaginable, I only decided to respond. Hey, isn't it a good thing that a new toy could be on the horizon?
  3. Hi guys, thanks for repling. It's been two months and I want to update you guys that I created a new interlocking brick system. I know that it sounds unimaginable; but I want to let you guys know that a new brick system does exist (in my room). I couldn't say it back then because I didn't have a 3D printer then and it was just an idea. And sorry, I can't show pictures or divulge information or even brag about it because of future patents. The bad news is that I currently can't financially take it to market so I have to put it on hold. My estimated cost to market is too high.
  4. Thanks for replying, EmilStorm. Your point about no next thing is proven as I haven't seen anything since the first Lego brick appeared. And hi, Leo.
  5. I love the basics behind Lego. I meant since Lego debuted; there hasn't been much improvement; thus, Lego is the king of construction toy bricks. Today, I went to store and an entire ilse is dedicated to lego's toys. Hypothetically, what if a new, better brick appear? And is it possible to make a better non-lego like brick? I see some pathetic competitions there at the store called "log" something. Not much in term of competition. As you can see, I am more of a fan of toy tech.
  6. I am not a regular fan of lego. I am more of a fan of lego's technology like how their blocks connect. I join to see how you guys feel if a new brick (not lego-like) would hit the market.
