Hello everyone, anyone have the idea on how to separate a 2x2 plate without any stud from a base plate. eg, those plate that we use as floor tile on the baseplate. Hope I am not confusing anyone

Hi all, I like to build modular building to add on to the series but don't really want to tear down existing modular set that I had collected. Would appreciate if someone who had done similar building set advice me on the best assortment of bricks to start with. eg 1x2 bricks.. color etc.

Hi WolfWing, I also come to collecting Lego recently. I had brought a bucket which have 1600 pieces inside. I search on Lego store and it is release only in UK recently. I am not too sure on when US will have it. The Bucket number is 5512. Hope it help.

I had read the book "The Unofficial Lego Builder Guider" by Allan Bedford and it state that the scale for minifig is 1:48. The minifig actually is 6 feet tall. I would highly recommend this book for new builder.

Actually I seems to be crazy for modular building and city theme. Want to build my own city. However, I don't have a single Starwars and those mecha sets.

Interesting topic. This is what I do. 1. I would clear my desk. 2. If the bag is numbered, I would open that bag first. 3. If not, I would open the bag and pour them into some container. Be Careful about the small parts. I don't want to run into a situation where all the small parts spll out while opening the bags.

Do you take down a modular building after you build it? :)

Simply Toys have the Cafe corner for 650SGD. Quite a hefty price. Not too sure if I should get it. I also want to get the Fire Bridage. It cost 239SGD. Total will be 900SGD. Any Comments

I saw a topic on one favorite Lego build. I am wandering if anyone have a particular lego build that they don't like and dismantle it after building.

I have tried to build the 8051 motorbike in LDD but could not find rim and tyre in LDD. Anyone have any idea or workaround? Help is appreciated

As I am building my World Racer model, I start to wander how amazing Lego brick are and the Lego Designers who come out with all the creative model ideas. They can just come up with all kinds of design with a bunch of lego bricks.

Actually I am not a very creative person. I like to see and modify plp moc ideas but am worried that plp may say classify me as a copier. Any comments

After reading the book "Lego: A Love Story". The author like to create things out of lego bricks that he can get hold of while his wife enjoy more of building Lego Sets. (My own thoughts) I am wandering if Lego Fans out there who like to collect sets but do little moc. For me I like to built Lego Sets rather compared to doing my own Moc. Anyone have any comments? :)

For me, it would be anything on the Modular Building Theme. I also like some sets with great details when built.

I also brought the book and find it very interesting to read. I only know the term AFOL after reading the book. It also give alot of insights of what is it like to be a AFOL. I also brought the Lego Book by DK. I really like all the pictures, photos and the history of Lego. My wish is to have a chance to visit a LegoLand Theme Park.

I am 35 years old and I only started to buy and build lego recently. I do not really have the chance to play with Lego when I am a kid as Lego is expansive back then. I start to buy Lego when I buy a Duplo set for my 2 year old kid. After then, I start to buy more set for myself then for my kid who is still young to appreciate the beauty of some exclusive set. I also hope I can give my kid lot of Lego sets to play with as he get older and older.

I would like to join, It would be interesting to know more about reviewing. I had already build the 3 sets completely but still got the instruction. Can i still join? :)
