  1. Hi everyone. Just saw that The Warehouse have 25% off all Lego CITY on Saturday and Sunday.
  2. I haven't seen to City house yet, but would like to know the answer too. I've been in Farmers and The Warehouse this week and nothing new yet. Found a small bag of lego at the sally army shop today for $2 which had an incomplete bionicle and a lego skateboard and a few other plates and pieces.
  3. I like that Incan minifigure. Vey colourful set and nice baseplates too. I imagine it cost a bit to have posted. I haven't seen series 2 minifigures yet. About 5 boxes of series 1 at my local TWH. I still would still like to get a couple of the series 1 guys but keep forgetting to print out the cheat sheet. I have a double-up of the nurse (anyone want to swap? would like Indian, forest guy or clown). In series 2 I REALLY want the vampire. I've built my lovely Harry Potter set. I've also had a go at a lego clone set of a pizzeria - cute set except the quality of minifigures was shoddy. My 3 1/2 year old still thought it was cool.
  4. Farmers cardholder day on Thursday (19 August). 20% off Lego when using farmers card. I had a fun time yesterday building up the Harry potter "Dumbledores office" set I bought from trademe. What has everyone else been building?
  5. Yes, I've just looked at the Woma website http://www.woma-cn.com/BRICKS/small.asp and I can see they have a matching set with Construbricks for a mechanics workshop. Good figuring out Thrund. On their website they do mention having a factory - but who knows really. They only seem to have a few of those detailed sets, and their other stuff is basic brick styles. They have a younger kids duplo look range too, although some figures are duplo like and others are quite different (old duplo style? another style?) Anyway - I haven't been able to resist that Pizza parlor, so when it arrives I shall report back on quality.
  6. I've seen a set from this company WOMA being sold online in my country. It is a pizzeria set and actually looks quite attractive. Not sure on the quality though! Pretty cheap at only $20 NZD (around $14 or 15 USD) I'm not sure where the design comes from - Lego have made a pizzeria, but it is a lot smaller, so I'm not sure that there is a link to that specific set. Clearly the little yellow faced minifigures show where their inspiration came from.
  7. Yes, 25% off Lego at the Warehouse tomorrow sounds pretty exciting. Hmm... might have to relook at their stuff online and see if I want any.
  8. Fishpond have Fire Station 7208 for $99.97 today only. Great discount on Appletree house and Beachhouse too.
  9. Thought I'd introduce myself. I'm from Lower Hutt and I'm buying Lego for myself and for my 3 1/2 year old boy. I'm pretty new to Lego. I'm not really into the star wars lego but I've been enjoying the creator houses and some other smaller sets. I'd love to hear more about the Kapiti Lego Show - we'd come along for sure!
