I think it's really cool they're teaming up like this. But I'm a little disapointed at the apparent simplicity of the Shuttle(s). Might be because I own the 10213 Shuttle Adventure, but the sets just don't appeal much to me. Especially the larger set. Looks like the entire nose-piece is a solid piece.

Did this last set-up year but only finally got around to uploading the photos. Was every set from the Construction sub-set of City that I owned. Let me know what you think. Construction minifig with the Port-a-John that comes with the Tower Crane set. An old minifig from years-gone that I set up as an observer. Bulldozer clearing some debris. Layout down a pile of concrete. With a large supply from the Cement Mixer. Forklift unloading supplies. Truck driver gets the goods there, then gets to supervise. Coffee and a radio. Can you tell he's a site manager? Hand-signs to a driver of the crawler crane. Bulldozer driver seems to really enjoy his job. Mini crawler crane loading up debris into the truck. Dump truck getting loaded up. Front-end-loader loading up the truck too. Another supervisor talking to the crane operator. The massive Tower Crane lowering a worksite office into place. My favourite set of the series. The office coming down into a safety area. Tamping the ground in front of the shop. The Truck-Crane operator. Truck-Crane raising a storey of building into place. Supervisor with a radio guiding the structure into place. View from the top walkway of the Tower Crane. The massive counterweights on the Crawler Crane. Underneath the span of the Truck-Crane. Yes, that's the Limited Chrome C-3P0. Got it by luck with my 7665 Republic Cruiser set.

Hello to everyone here. Been a Lego fan as long as I can remember. Apparently I even skipped Duplo and went right to Lego as a pre-schooler.

Last year I finally caved and got it. And best yet, I got it for a great price. And I documented the building from start to finish. A total time of 8 hours spread over two evenings. For starters, the box is frakking huge. I've used a Battle Droid (whom I shall call Buster) to demonstrate scale in the photos: The only LEGO instructions I have ever recieved that were spiral-bound. This is what 3445 pieces of LEGO looks like. Took over the basement for 2 days to assemble the beast. Buster is in there somewhere. First steps were to assemble the base (which I feel could be a little wider for extra support) and the interior scafolding: The exterior ring and half the lower outer shelf in place: The view from the inside: One of the two "incomplete" hemispheres: Both attached/hung in place: Some more of the outer shell in place and the midsection ring is complete: The Superlaser finished: "You may fire when ready." The tiny Super Star Destroyer 'Executor' that comes with the set: All put together:

Canon-wise, I guess it would have to be Geonosis. Though I think I have some stuff from EpIII in there. And yes, two RGS, both the original and the more recent. Didn't have space for both, so the original became scrap for the photoshoot.

A while back I had some free time and decided to put together a battlescene with the various Clone Wars LEGOs I've collected since the first Episode II sets came out. Overall view of the battle: The Republic side: The Separatists: Obi-wan and other Jedi with clone troops near a downed gunship: C-3P0 tends to a wounded soldier in a med-pod: (Yes that is the limited gold C-3P0 mini-fig) Yoda at a forward command post: The Republic's heavy firepower, the AT-TE: A relocatable manned gun turret: Anakin, Awsoka and Commander Fox arrive by gunship: A speeder bike: Another speeder bike with a tool drop-pod salvaged from the downed gunship: Where one droid falls, there is always another ready to take it's place: Ventress and her security droid escorts: A homing spider droid moves in: General Grievous with his personal Magnaguard droids: Many droids make for a fearsome front: A commander droid with his super battle droid escorts being piloted by his pilot droid: Jango Fett makes sure he's at the front line: A hailfire missile droid: STAPs fly past droidekas and the MTT: The MTT unloads another wave of battle droids: The battle from the Separatist side: The view from the Republic side: Total time spent was probably an hour to set them up, shoot and then put them all away.

Hello all. First time posting here. (And forgive me if it's in the wrong section) Just wanted to show off my recent restoration project. The Canada Post Truck (set 107). I've come to learn it was released only in Canada at Post Offices and has come to be nearly extinct and impossible to find. Was given to me by my grandmother when I was very little. And I've just recently finished putting it all back together with all of the original parts as near as I can tell. Let me know what you think.
