  1. I think the 7939 cargo train might be best. It comes with all the PF stuff you need, straight, curve and flex track. It also comes with two switch tracks which will help you expand later on. The Horizon Express doesn't come with any track or motor. And the 7938 passenger train does have a motor but only comes with curve and flex track. d
  2. Sorry. I'm a moron. Don't know how that slipped past me. d

  4. Wow! Locking a discussion and this comment seem kinda rude: No I don't think you are, but maybe someone in this 'community' can help alienwar9 out with info. Or do you know 100% that no BL mods are members here and might be able to help. How are site issues on BL any less relevant than the one that happened on Brickshelf? From the site guidelines: 5. LEGO or site issue topics are almost always OK to post in. For example, the Brickshelf topic or the I'm in Outline view and don't know how to get out will always be relevant. Many posts contain links to BL for parts/sets, and I think potential security risks at BL puts us all at risk. Is there a special thread for BL discussions or are we not allowed to talk about it? If I were to discuss problems with this site on BL I doubt it would be locked there. d

  10. Hi all. I'm a father of an 11 year old son who somehow got my 'star wars geek' gene. We started picking up the sets he wanted This reignited my childhood love of lego and I got hooked. I didn't build too many MOC's when i was younger. As i started modifying some of our sets to meet my son's vision/need of what they should be like, I've started to give it a try. It's a little difficult right now because of my limited number of parts (don't want to take apart the Arc fighter to make something that the kid thinks is not cool), but working on that. I will post pics soon of what i have made so far. As i already stated, SW has been my main interest but I'm thinking of shifting MY set buys to City and trains. I really love building anything just to turn a pile parts (plastic gold imo) into a working creation. Guess that's all for now. have a nice day -d-
