Here’s a little project a had : a building with differents levels with differents shapes Restaurant I wanted to do littles scenes with each levels. I’ll show them form top to bottom. Rooftop A little fight with Bulleyes, Elektra and Daredevil. roof 01 Hidden under the roof, a man wishing to read his newspaper found his spot already taken roof 02 And a little date ;) roof 03 A little view on the hobo roof 04 Once this levels remove we can see…. roof off the appartement 2e 01 2e 02 Little zoom on the stairs 2e 03 and from the outside 2e 04 2e 05 Once this levels removed we can see… 2e off Kitchen and office 1er 01 1er 02 1er 03 As previous level you can removed it ;) 1er off On this level, there is also a little parc 1er parc 01 Which can be removed to show… 1er off + parc Bar and art galerie rdc 01 rdc 02 rdc 03 rdc 04 And off course, the street level rdc 05 rdc 06 A little view of the back (while it was still in WIP, before doing all the littles scenes) Resto 21 I really enjoy building this thing, particularly all the stairs and the bar.

Wonderfull houses, I went to Brugge a lot of time (and going there again soon ;) ) you really catch the athmosphere of the city in those 2 houses. I love the entrance of the left one too ;)

Nice review, I'm building it (need to finish it, but I'm at work right now) With the printed piece, you forgot to show the chocolat milk 1x1 brick, which is exclusive to this set yet (it isn't referenced on bricklink yet, only the blue one) The set is really fun to build, with a lot of little pieces for the fridges. I haven't put the stickers yet, will see the final product to put the essentials ones

It'll be hard to allready find MOD of the K-E-M, it was out yesterday for VIPs clients. Maybe a madbuilder allready build, destroyed then MOD the thing. Got mine yesterday, and haven't finish building it yet ;) (OK I'm doing photos for a review, so it's a bit longer than usual ;) )

Thanks ;) I don't know what I'll do next, maaybe somethine related to super heroes or LOTR. Certainly another building (as you can see on my FLICKR, I like doing buildings ;) ) But to do another big project, I'll need to dismantle this one (or buy more LEGO ;) ).

I haven't touch the water part since I started the projet, except adding a some round 1X1. I also need to change the sand to some dark tan? I've try some things in the building, but my skills lend me to that direction. I like your point of view of a take over fort ;) I start the project ealry march with my LDD test. So the all project took me a big month. For now, it's my biggest project, and took me a lot of my stock :'(

Realy like the atmosphere of your pub, it make me think of some buildings I know in Bruges.

Following the WIP here comes the final island with peoples on it Pirate Fort Island 04 Pirate Fort Island 01 Pirate Fort Island 02 Pirate Fort Island 03 The island is modular : cave, bar, weapon room and roof/beacon Pirate Fort Island 04 bis The beacon is here to lure innocent ship to the pirates lair, it have removable flags of course ;) I represent an bluecoat expedition to take the lair from the beach, with a commando team for the roof. Let’s have a look on the difference levels. The cave Pirate base 1 Pirate base 2 Pirate base 3 Pirate base 4 Has seen in the WIP, it’s a part I did earlier, using LDD to do some rocks and beaches test, then dit the thing with my stock in front of me. BURPs (hidden behind bottle and big chest) helped me to have a minimum high and keep plates together Pirate base 5 I hid a canon to destroy unwanted ships who wanted to dock. Bar Pirate 1st 1 I did all the level on LDD, with later changes to the bar, and add some lights Pirate 1st 6 Pirate 1st 4 We had a little live on this and we get a pirate crew unaware of current danger… Pirate 1st 3 Pirate 1st 5 Except the cook who’s hunting rats (for the stew? ;) ) Pirate 1st 2 Weapon room. Pirate 2nd 1 Pirate 2nd 2 It was the hardest level for me. I did all the exteriors on LDD, but was stuck for the inside (I wanted to do a common sleeping room). Then I get the idée of a passage for other rooms (not on the MOC) and the roof. Here the commando leader meet the first defense. Pirate 2nd 3 Pirate 2nd 4 Pirate 2nd 5 I had some fun on the furnitures, and did a more luxury color code, pirates need to spend there loot !! :) The roof Pirate roof 2 Pirate roof 1 Pirate roof 7 Pirate roof 6 I wanted to test a brickbuild door, but still need to improve, it’s a bit difficult to open. Each floor have a fonction. I already show you the cave, I haven't touch it yet (May change the floor for a more irregular one ;) ) I've change the bar (but not the door yet) and had some light. WIP 40 A little change on the front. WIP 41 Let's go upstrairs. WIP 42 I really didn't know how to do the inside. I change the private part to a luxury section, thoses guy had to spend some loot ! This section is the weapon room with acces to others parts. And an acces upstairs WIP 43 WIP 44 I wanted a simlpe outside, balconies are still to improve. WIP 45 WIP 46 WIP 47 For the roof, I wanted to fortified a bit and put some defence. Really nice fort. I like the beach, the use of tan and dark tan is really great for wetted sand. Something bother me about the rocks, but don't know what. The buildings are great, love a lot of things in them. ;)

Thanks and no problems ;) For the beach, I did a lot of test on LDD to see what'll looks like, then I took all my sand plate and wedge, and I Started from the sea and add the rock after, but I allready did all the left rock part ;)

Cloud City Feet is 200$ !?! I get it with the set, when I bought it in 2003, didn't know it was so expensive now ! Looking at bricklink prices, I'm thinking selling my cloud city Set + box + manual ;)

Thanks for the coms. For the windows, I've tried rounded ones, but it doesn't look good on the thing I want to do with the "facade" (basicaly, shape of a skull, so the windows will be the nose). Doesn't tried for the side, and I only have them in white, I don't think it'll look good) I don't see how to fit well a brickbuild door (I've tried, but my LEGO are still poor for that).

Hi Antony In Paris you have 2 main stores Jouet club, Bd des Italiens : not sure on the stock, but prices are usaly 5 to 15% up compare to the LEGO retail price But You have a LEGO store, in Levallois (not in Paris center, but really close, you can go in Metro + 5 min walk) (http://stores.lego.com/fr-fr/stores/fr/so-ouest) They have everything you're searching for.

With the recent wave a pirates, the urge to do it was strong so I started the project. I wanted to do an Island, without a real blueprint in mind. I started to do some LDD test for the rocks and the beach, the I do the first stage. WIP 1 WIP 2 WIP 3 WIP 4 After a week, I finish the cave, with some modifications. WIP 05 WIP 06 WIP 07 WIP 08 WIP 09 WIP 10 WIP 11 WIP 12 WIP 13 WIP 14 WIP 16 WIP 17 WIP 18 WIP 19 WIP 20 WIP 21 For the 1st floor I worked everything on LDD, except the "base" and how the stair will be attach. WIP22 WIP23 WIP24 WIP25 WIP26 WIP27 WIP29 WIP30 I already did some modifications to the bar (to see the kitchen in the back, under the stairs) And I'm working on the 2 floor on LDD. Hello EB members. I'm Fred, a 40 years old french dude, working as a sound engineer for a blind charity. Big comics fan, skater (and fingerboarder), drummer, I came out of my 2nd dark age last year (thank (or not) to the X-Wing UCS). I also doing some photos (not a particular theme) When I was young, I was always with my bricks, trying to do spaceship and other funny stuff. Like mostly everybody, I stopped when I was a teenager (discover skating and BMX, so I was outside most of the time breaking some decks and bones ;) ) I came out of my 1st during 2002 and 2005, I was collecting some LEGO StarWars, but had to stop for personnal life changes. So last year was the year of my "ressurection", I restart buying stuff, starting with UCSs X-Wing and R2D2, I continue with LOTR/hobbit stuff (huge Tolkien fan), and Super-Heroes (but not a DC fan, more Marvel, Vetigo and DarkHorse), and TMNT ! I also started MOCing, thank to the LEGOstore, I was able to build a nice stock for this purpose, and "destroyed" some set to join the stock. Last year was also the year of my moving, so I haven't my bricks around for 6 months, but now it's finish, and I got my "entertainement room" ;) I restart MOCing recently with a "Pirate Island" project.
