  1. This set looks alot better than it did when we first saw the picture. I really like the new head for Anakin, and I think that the Jedi starfighter looks great.. I love the angle of the wings! I didn't realise how much the vulture droid is like the droid starfighter.. but it looks alot cooler in sand blue! I am quite impressed with this set.. I'm pretty sure I will buy it. Jon.
  2. Good idea, I will try and change them if I can find some of the round bricks. Jon.
  3. Its Christmas Eve, I had nothing else to do.. I had to make something. So here are some bricks which are 4x bigger than normal bricks. They work just like normal Lego bricks but they are bigger. http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/jonfett/...s/bigbricks.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/jonfett/...bigbricks_2.jpg Jon.
  4. That looks great! I think that the colours work well, and it looks very accurate. Does the starfighter fit in? It is just that it looks a little too thin for it. Nice work though, and I can't wait to see it finished. Jon.
  5. Happy Birthday, have a great day.. How unlucky to have a birthday today.. do you receive 1 or 2 sets of presents? Hope you enjoy it anyway. Jon.
  6. Hi! Welcome to Eurobricks. Hope we can pursuade you to stay here, I am sure you will enjoy Eurobricks. Jon.
  7. Hmm.. I would expect these mini bionicle figures to be modled pieces, or maybe something like the super battle droid. I cannot think what the playsets will look like and I doubt I will get them anyway, as I don't really like bioncile either. Jon.
  8. Yes, these are Palpatines imperial guards.. the ones that are with him in ESB and ROTJ. They are a little different in the prequels. This is in the first scene of the film.. when the stormtroopers and forcing their way into the Tantive V. You have to look closely though, I am not quite sure when it happens.. I think it is after vadar enter. Jon.
  9. my woolworths has hardly any Lego, there are a few star wars minis and then the KK2 big figures. I find that a good place to go is Toymaster, they have quite a big range of Lego but ususally it is MSRP and not often sales or discounts. :/ Jon.
  10. Oh, I missed the new set! But it looks ok IMO. I really like the wheel bike design, its really good and it looks like it can fold up and roll. I would like to see some clearer pics of Grevious before I make an opinion of him. The bolgar creature is growing on me, I don't like the fact it is 2 colours and the feet look a bit odd, but once I have seen pictures of the creature in the film I will see if it does look right. Overall it is not too bad, and for
  11. Its Christmas Eve today in the UK, we don't celebrate Christmas until tomorrow unlike some of you. :( Jon.
  12. I doubt it, they will probably use a new piece as the boat would not be very accurate. Lets hope that Lego produce some really good sets for Grevious' wheel bike and the catamaran. If they don't pull them off well then we will probably be disappointed. Jon.

    The Big One

So finally, after almost a year of being started, we have managed to reach 10,000 posts in our forum. This really is a great achievement as it shows that we are growing and becoming a bigger community, which is what we planned to do. Hopefully we will continue to gain more members and grow into an even bigger community. So I on behalf of all the staff and members of Eurobricks, would like to say thank you.. and give yourself a pat on the back! Jon.
  14. What?? Are you saying that this game is bad? I can't believe you! :() This is one of my favourite games.. probably one of the best SW games ever made. Why don't you like it? Jon.
  15. I am a little further on with the construction of the base of Helms Deep. See what I have done here - http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/jonfett... Jon.
  16. Here we go Apo! >-----< Jon.
  17. Well, if you are staying In London and don't wan't to have to trek to far. Then your best bet would be to get the tube down to windsor and visit the store at Legoland. The other stores are further up the county so they would take longer for you to get to from London. Visit this page http://www.lego.com/legostores/ to find out more info. Jon.
  18. Hey! Welcome Darkkazmo! Hope you enjoy it here at Eurobricks! I hope also that Collin said nice things about us! ;) Jon.
  19. Man, you are almost in-love with Smilies more than Apo is.. *cough* :P Jon.
  20. Join the gang Collin... <---- Mine is better than yours though! :P Jon.
  21. I think it was actually dyip_90 who did this, luckily he is a member here so try PM him. Jon.
  22. Great! Another accurate version of one of the sets. I like how you got the angle of the stand right and the droid looks good too! There will be no need to buy them! We can just get them off you guys. ;) Now I challenge someone to make the tri-fighter.. I would guess that it will be hard to do, as we do not have a view of the whole thing. Jon.

    Santy Worm

Oh right, there was a cost at the old ezboard. Well what is the difficulty then? Jon.
  24. All I can find is some concept art - http://www.starwars.com/episode-iii... Jon.
  25. Wow! I am suprsied that you guys are arguing over each others opinions. Ok, so some people don't like the set.. whatever the reason is, maybe they don't know or they don't want to say. This is fine. You don't have to hassle others just becuase you disagree with them. As for me, I said I don't really like the design of the set. I have no idea how good Lego's rendition of the ship is, it could be really good or it could be poor, but I just don't like the ships design. So why buy it if I would not like to have it displayed?? Hope you understand what I am trying to say. :) Well, Tri fighter kinda implies that! :P Jon.
