Well, after going back through several pages about windlances, hoods, what the armies were in the Bo5A, and age requirements for posting, I finally managed to find the info about the sets for TABA, and I for one am excited. Hopefully the Erebor set has something more to offer than just a Smaug, but an add on to laketown, the witch king and a Bo5A set sound great! (I am hoping for bear form beorn!)

Those 3 goblins and the, imho, awful build of the set is why its the only set I didn't buy. I eBayed Dori, Nori, and Ori for like $25 total shipped. If the Erebor set is just reprints and gold forges I could probably easily pass up that set if its $100+. Which is why I beleive Smaug would either be in the Erebor set, or the Erebor set relates to the Bo5A. But maybe that is just wishful thinking amd lego is willing to put out a large set with all reprints. It's also possible the set is an all encompassing set which would make some sense as well. But to tie it directly to the final scene of DoS seems to limit the set greatly in terms of mini fig distribution.

Hey guys! First post here, long time lurker, life long LEGO fan! I just wanted to chime in with a thought, I love the reveals from the London toyfair, and the potential for the next wave of Hobbit sets, but the molded Smaug is, to me a little dissapointing. One thought I was having though with all the talk of a D2C set for the Hobbit was that, if we were to get one still, is there still a chance of Smaug? The reason I bring this up is because a molded Smaug could be a cheap and easy way for LEGO to get the dragon out to kids, while leaving the larger more expensive dragon as a more exclusive set. I only mention this because it wouldn't be unheard of, after all, LEGO did give us the Wizard Duel Set as Well as the Tower of Orthanc. Just my two thoughts on the subject, haven't seen anyone mention this before.
