  1. I'd hold onto the money and wait for the good sales that usually happen in October and November on LEGO. Then you can pick up one of the big sets and one of the mid-sized ones.
  2. I really don't feel that zero percent chance of no sequel is an exaggeration. There is no way it doesn't happen. Development costs on these games must be crazy low at this point since they all run on the same basic game engine. They can also reuse a lot of the design work from the first one. And every single LEGO game that lends itself to sequels has had one. There is no possible chance we won't get years 5-7. I would bet my house that we have the game within 3 years at the latest. It's a blank check for Traveler's Tales to write themselves. Battlefront was a completely different animal, there's really no comparison here.
  3. There is a zero percent chance of a sequel not being made to the LEGO game. I wouldn't be surprised if it were announced within the next couple of months and was ready close to the DVD release of DH2. But part of me hopes it's a little longer because that might help the chances of more sets in 2012.
  4. My only complaint is that we're getting Lucius again. How hard would it be to give us a new Deatheater instead? Or why not include Voldemort? He's way more important than Lucius and has only been released with the Castle so far. As for Harry in his school uniform, while it's inaccurate for this scene I understand the choice. He'll be in street clothes in the Knight Bus set and probably also in the Forbidden Forest if he's in that one. They need to have him in the uniform in at least one of the sets and this one makes the most sense.
  5. It seems to me that Lego would be idiots not to make a few more sets beyond these three. The first batch have sold like crazy and I don't think the DH moview had as much to do with it as Lego's marketing people probably think. Harry Potter is so popular that this theme could probably continue several years beyond the last film and continue to sell like crazy.
  6. Got an e-mail last night that mine shipped after originally being told I was backordered through the 22nd! Can't wait for the weekend!
  7. Maybe at Toyfair in February?
  8. It was really stupid of Lego to stock the set on-line before they had enough to meet what they had to know would be a high initial demand. If they didn't have enough ready to go then why release the set now? The idiots should've just pushed it back to February 1st so no one would be pissed about having to wait when it was supposed to be available. Or better yet, they should've started taking pre-orders a couple of months ago so they knew how many they would need to have ready.
  9. Grumble. Didn't notice stupid shop at home put it in stock early until after the stupid thing was backordered to the 11th. By the time I got through the checkout process it got bumped back to the 22nd. I was going to gripe about the closest Lego store to me being 2 1/2 hours away, but judging by the previous post I'd probably still miss the first couple of shipments since stores put it out early too.
  10. I wish they'd redo the regular TIE fighter as well as the Interceptor and Bomber. All in the black and grey color scheme to match the new Darth Vader's TIE.
  11. Wow. This is an insanely good deal for a licensed set. Only 7.4 cents per piece (U.S. $)! It would be nice if B&B had a more detailed interior though. And Greyback was't really the best choice since he comes with the Burrow as well. They should've made a proper shopkeeper for B&B instead. Still, those are pretty minor gripes considering all the positives. Here's hoping Lego expands on this one next year with more shops.
  12. I suppose the surprise is nice for people who have the subscription but I wish I knew what other sets were coming. I wonder what the odds are for a Harry Potter set in 2011 with the new HP sets and movies coming out.
  13. Long time lurker, first time poster. Hope this is the appropriate location for my question, sorry if it's not. I only collect Star Wars Lego sets and am debating whether it's worth it to get a Brickmaster subscription. Signing up right now gets the Imperial Shuttle and the late Fall set is an AT-AT. The other 4 sets for the year probably won't interest me. I'll use the two $5 coupons but not the legoland ticket. Would I be able to sell or trade the other sets and maybe the ticket with any luck? I'm really on the fence about spending the $40 when I know it's probably only 2 sets that I want. Advice?
