Small LDD contest - [FINAL RESULTS]
Sarkanyapu replied to Calabar's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
This is my Snowmobile. I wanted to give it some realistic functions, so driving handle can be tilted up or down and can also be turned left or right, just like real snowmobiles. And here is the lxf file, too. -
What a beautiful idea! Where can I spend all my money to everything I already have, only with an imaginary mammal on it? Thanx again, guys. It's fantastic. Hello Kitty! xxx ooo
-
Wow! Maybe it sound weird, but I think It is beautiful! Cleverly done!

For all you faithless people I show the secret of the impossible container. Since I know that there are more, who don't want to see it, I just put a link here, and as soon as Brickshelf validates it, you will be able to see the solution. Solution of Impossible Container After looking at it, go back to original and you will see it differently, It's only an illusion. You can build one for yourself, too.

Thanks a lot! Reading your comment and all the others about my entry, it was already worth taking all those pictures (more than 60), to get one, that is from the perfect angle. I think there are so many other funny and creative ideas, but secretly, yes, I hope I will get something, too. Thanks again, very nice of you!

The impossible container. There is nothing in this container, because there cannot be anything in it, since it cannot exist. This picture has not been edited in any ways, the container fits into the required measures, it is only an optical illusion. Stop here for a minute, please!

I have built a scene of a TV serial drama Guess the title! Minifigures: Series 1 – Cheerleader Series 2 – Traffic Cop Series 3 – Fisherman Theme: Town (crime scene) Story: Pete Martell on his way to fishing caught a sight of something strange on the river bank, which turned out to be the body of a young girl wrapped in a plastic bag. Pete called the police immediately, and since in a little town like this homicide is very rare, sheriff Harry S. Truman himself came to see the scene of the crime before turning to special agent Dale Cooper for help. Hint: The name of the dead girl is Laura Palmer. Solution: Of course, it is Twin Peaks. See the original scene here (from 3:00) (This video is not part of my entry.) See the scene with the Fisherman here. (These pictures are not part of my entry.)

Have a look at my first entry in this contest. I was surprised how many Fisherman Vignette have already been posted, but I did not change my mind to build one myself. The competition is even bigger this way. I have tried some modern building technics, and I also had quite an interesting idea. It was fun to build it, I hope you will enjoy it just as much on this page. Good luck everybody!

Hi Holko! It has become a great one. What I like the most is the classroom of Snape. It is funny that I have just posted my Vignette for the Minifigure contest's cathegory "A" with the same trick you have used at the Mirror of Erised. Congrats! It must have been a long building, but it was worth it. Thanx for showing it to us.

Minifigure: Fisherman Theme: Town (Tranquillity) Story: The Fisherman used to love telling stories about his catches, but since no one believes his tales, nowadays he prefers to sit alone on his favourite pier, and watch his own reflection in the water all day, even if he knows, there are no fish in this lake. You will only understand the point of my vignette, if you look at the picture with the fisherman, or my Brickshelf gallery (These pictures are not part of my entry.)

Yes, I thought of the packaging material, I thought it worths a question, I will use something like Harry's invisible cloak instead. It should represent a plastic bag, that is why i thought of a plastic bag to be used as a plastic bag. A picture would ruin the power of surprise, which will be the main feature of my entry for category "B", if it will ever be ready.

I can not see, if my posting is successfull, so maybe you get this questin twice from me, but better twice, than never. My weird, but i think rightful question is, if small plastic bags in LEGO sets count as LEGO for you (can I use them in my entry), or are they in the category of "custom items"? Thank you for your answer in advance.

Harry Potter Winter Break Contest Voting Thread
Sarkanyapu replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Licensed
My votes are: 2 points - Alibabo - Privet Drive 4 (excellent ideas everywhere) 1 point - eti - King's Cross (the whole thing is just so outside the box, and the photos are even better) 1 point - mcfarlandman - The Lovegood Home (tilted floors forever!, and nicely weird little things) 1 point - Admiral Ron - The Ministry of Magic (coding of the statue is just perfect, nice details) Congrats everybody! -
This is just beautiful. It is not my authority, but I think the globe alone is already too big, and since it is shifted according to the base, its overhanging is not right. I mean, if this is allowed, I would correct mine as well, before sending it. 2. A reasonable overhang is allowed to accommodate tree limbs or minifigures accessories, but may not exceed more than 2 studs outside the base. Sorry again!

Hi All, I have to say, being in one contest with you is already a pleasure. So amazing works, and it goes to Admiral Ron , and Cralegoboy, who would not have to be so unsure about their MOCs, since I have checked every entry, and I have not found any, that would not stand a chance in this competitions, good luck to everyone, have faith in yourselves, as I have faith in my Shell Cottage, too, even if it is a very classic one, because I believe in the power of classic LEGO thinking. Build on, all of you, see you soon in another contest, hopefully.

Nicely tilted floors, congratulation, I like this idea and it fits the Lovegoods so much. Weird structure, weird outside, weird inside, that is how they live, for sure. Very nicely done. I'm with you!
