The Yellow Brick

Time for a small update. Okay, Today I have been working on the beach and trying out different techniques I could use to make the water look more realistic. All that I could think of was to place some Trans dark blue cheese slopes onto the water to give it a 'wave' effect. I will be also adding some white studs soon. Oh and I have also done something to the police station... Can you guess what I will be moving the police station soon to underneath the table as I am getting a board made which will create a small city underneath, That way I can get the harbor to fit in next to the beach.

Here are a few images I took awhile ago in my garden The Forest man is out hunting in the plants. I wonder what he will find. The Crash test dummy is getting squashed by a orange ball. The diver is taking a dip in the bird bath The Space man has mistaken a purple flower as a space monster. The super wrestler is trying his moves out on this flower. These are some of the best shots and I will be taking more photos with Series 2, 3 and 4 in the summer.

Okay, here is my entry. A small container which is used to transport Lego. It's red and yellow colour scheme fit perfectly with the lego logo. I used the stickers from the 7939 cargo train which were already being used on a container. Good luck to everybody who enters

Just a quick question are we allowed to use stickers (I was planning on using some stickers from a Lego set, is that okay) But anyway, This sounds like a great competition and I'm looking forward to seeing the entries

Thank you Whitefang for this review. The series 4 collection has to be my favourite. It's really hard to try and pick a favourite out of all of these fantastic figures. But I will have to pick either the Hazzard guy or the Skater (Which is a huge improvement from the previous skate in series 1)

I think I'm the odd one out here because I haven't seen any space sets. HOWEVER when I went to WHSmith's this morning they had the 4641 Speed boat on the shelves for £12.00. I didn't buy it because I only had £5 on me at the time. I will pop back later to see if they still have it there

It really is amazing seeing all of those space sets all together, You must of spent years collecting all of them. lets hope you leave some room for the alien conquest sets .

The Bike shop looks great along with the bank and the post office. I'm certaintly looking forward to seeing progress in the future Oh and one thing, might want to turn the post box arround so the person behind the desk can open it and recive the letters with out having to go outside

I apologize for the double post but I have a quick question. As mentioned before, the train track is almost hanging off the edge and I put some blue tack underneath the tracks to try and hold them in place. But I was wondering if I should remove the blue tack and replace them with some nails. Just to try and hold the track in place (Only in certain parts, not all the way round)

Thank you KielDaMan for your kind comment A small island, Now that must be an interesting build. I don't know the exact price but I know it's more than £1000. (according to brickset). Luckily I brought the road plates before they shot the price up. Why do lego keep doing that .

I'm really excited for these sets because of the new pieces in new colours. Like the ice creams in the glove world set. Roll on 2011
