  1. Another way to look at the fighting scenes, is that the duels in OT are realistic and in PT not so much. If one possesses a weapon that can cut through flesh like a hot knife through butter, he's not really going to jump around like a duracell bunny on ecstasy. He stays calm and calculative, knowing that every false move is probably going to be the last move he'll ever make.
  2. Why Filoni? Why do you have to take all the cool quotes from OT, alter them a little bit, and make them sound SO WRONG?
  3. The parts count should be at the bottom of the screen on a gray bar. If no part is selected, there should be a piece count. Maybe you're not able to see this, because you also have to maximize (is this the right term) the window.
  4. I must say i really like the absence of the pointless commercial. And the new pieces seem really useful.
  5. I received my prize D minifigures today. Thanks again CopMike!

  10. Here is my entry Sadly not everyone can enjoy Christmas with their families.
  11. I really liked this episode, and especially Krell. Krell is like a typical second lieutenant type (I know, I know he is a general, but it seems to me, that Jedi act more like lieutenants, while cody and rex are more like sergeants). He is just like those pricks in army, who have just graduated from academy and all they can think of is protocol, discipline, and orders. The way Krell addressed the clones by their numbers, was exactly what a guy like him would do. And i really hope that Krell will remain the way he is. We've got enough good guys in Clone Wars!
  12. Well that's nice! I can kinda understand, if a set in EU costs as many € as a set costs $ in US, but adding another €6 or more??? I really hoped to start building up my imperial forces (ah those lovely sandtroopers).
  13. A few days ago I stumbled across the Bionicle review index just to find out how many reviews were missing. So here is my tiny contribution. Name: 8560 Pahrak Theme: Bionicle Year: 2002 Pieces: 41 Price: USD 8.00 According to Brickset.com Canister A usual Bohrok canister Instructions Front Back Really cool picture Random Page Play features Parts Nothing special, most of these parts are common to every Bohrok set. Some unusual pieces. I can't believe TLG made a rubber band holder piece. Building process Halfway through Adding the limbs Play features By pressing the gray Technic piece, the head of the creature moves forwards. Hitting the green tooth pieces releases the Krana. Transformation Conclusion Design: 9/10 The overall look is quite nice, reminds me The Alien for some reason. Price: 7/10 The price seems reasonable Pieces: 7/10 Back in 2002 this set contained many new pieces, however most of these pieces are only usable for making Action Figure MOCs Playability: 9/10 Very playable set. The kicking mechanism and transformation are great. I hope you enjoyed this review! Since I'm not a native speaker, I'd appreciate if a moderator would correct any mistakes I might have made.
  14. The RotJ poster got me thinking how cool the battle scenes could have been, if Lucas had gotten inspiration from WW2 and used wookiees instead of ewoks.
  15. Now everybody can see your pictures.
  16. Forgive me, if this has been posted here before. That guy is awesome.
  17. has not set their status

  18. Anyway using electric drill did the job and my fiber optics element is now functional again.
  19. I have a long and a short wire. The short one is definitely fine, i used my tester to check it. The long one is definitely broken, i can tell this by just looking at it. But since i lent the tester to my friend i can't check if the motor is fine or not. Well if the bulb is burned out then yeah there is nothing to do. I'm hoping the problem is that the internal contacts are dirty, because i used sandpaper to clean the external ones.
  20. Unfortunately my 9v engine isn't working either at the moment, but i have some tests to do before i can tell if it is broken or not. Meanwhile I guess i could attach a technic axle to a usual electric drill and rev it very slowly.
  21. Lately I have been working on a MOC and I wanted to add fiber optics to it, but I discovered that the element is not working. Since TLG doesn't make these things anymore I thought I try to fix it instead of throwing it away. However I have no idea how to take it apart. Since TLG has put this together there must be a way to dismantle it and hopefully without having to superglue everything when putting it back together. Has anybody tried to do this before and succeeded? I could really use help.
  22. My votes go to 4) Lifeguard Entry (Build by Dan Church) 25) Mexican Entry (Build by Jippon) 33) Skier Entry (Build by Ritz Brick)
  23. I give my 2 points to Diver & Surfer Entry (Build by squiz) and 1 point to Skater Boy & Spartan Entry (Build by Etzel)
  24. I bet dirt bike is more useful for Hagrid to cruise around in dark forest than Sirius' cruiser Especially since he's not allowed to do magic.
  25. I think this was an excellent episode. Obi got his butt kicked more than once, Death Watch wasn't a bunch of incompetent idiots (For example taking his lightsaber. In every other cartoon the villains would think: "Now that the good guy is knocked out he's not going to trouble us again. I have a great idea let's place a RPG and a machine gun next to him.") and were capable to kick butt, darksaber is just awesome, some guy committed a suicide, and obi was forced to escape at the end - what's there not to like. Some things that bothered me were the pickering between obi and satine and the scene where obi was about to get crushed by some kind of machines. If you can't kill the guy why make this scene at all, it doesn't create tension if you know he's going to escape. And the way i understood this episode mandalorians aren't pacifists just some crazy duchess and her followers are trying to force them.
