I do not think Playmobil could pull off licences, even if they wanted to, they are basically Action Figure Playsets, and their are already Star Wars and other types of figures out there.

Most children today do not have the imagination that many pressent day adults did as children. TV,Video games and the Internet have somewhat caused it to diminish. Before kids had to come up with things to do, now its just there in front of them. So most kids want the creative process done for them, which basically means getting LEGOs based on various popular brands. As long as the licences support our beloved TLG enough to keep them making sets them I am ok with it. Both sides end up winning as kids get sets based around what they want while us creative FOLs can use those licensed sets and use them to build something unique :-) Just my .02 cents *y*

For a few games I have seen it is inside the CD Jewel case.

With the exception of Quebec, Most of the stores in Canada are US owned and the culture is the almost the same, so marketing is pretty much the same as well. There is also NAFTA allowing free trade between the US and Canada.

The Castles have a lot of play value so work well with selling to children but they also manage to please the FOL crowd. I guess you could also think of Classic Space this way. Lot of play value and everyone loves them :-)

Never really thought of those points *wacko* But I do not think it would hurt lego maybe to put out some more legends set, even if they were in limited quantitys. Maybe the Yellow Castle :) It was mostly basic bricks anyway so hopefully the investment to produce it would not be too large.

Why does the TLG not have them? I mean some sets are very popular. If they kept making them for maybe a few years I am sure many people would buy it. Mostly I am thinking about some of the SW sets but this could inclue other series as well. Your thoughts?

Has anyone been here? Do they have pikc-a-brick and such? Any good deals there? I would like to go soon, its about 2 hours away from where I live(much more with ridiculous California Traffic). Also in general,how is Legoland CA? Thanks!!!!!

Been trying to use bionicle along with system to make a mech. But its not to strong, keeps on falling apart when you move it X-D
