D2C Designers requesting feedback for 2012 models
MandalorianWig replied to CopMike's topic in General LEGO Discussion
1) No, i dont buy them, i prefer sets with minifgures. 2) No, i dont buy these models, i used to buy Model Team but thats as far as ive gone with models. 3) London Eye would be cool! 4) Mos Eisley Spaceport without a doubt!!! 5) Ewok sets like battle packs, more Pirate sets, also i liked what someone else mentioned - a legends line, where you re-release classic sets from selected ranges with awesome new packaging designed for collectors! -

Here's my separate minifig collection. Apologies for the distant pics, but they are all in their own ziplock bags so i didnt want to spend an hour taking them all out I have 304 total. Been collecting them casually for 4-5 years, but i sold most of my sets and didnt remove the figs as it would drastically affect their sale amount. I would have had a lot more otherwise so i am missing a lot of common figs This is the whole collection, the bottom row is cropped, its only droids anyways. They arent in any particular order, but my fave figs i have are Bib Fortuna, Greedo & Zam Wessell. -
Well done guys, excellent pieces! Pretzels piece was very worthy of winning, and excellent prizes too :pir-skull:

Review: 852922 Dragon Knight's Battle Pack
MandalorianWig replied to metalandi's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Until i came to this site, i never thought battle packs suffered poorer quality than minifigs in sets. This is not what i expect from TLG, any set you buy be it battle packs or full sets should be of the highest quality bar none Shame as these look like great new designs -
yet again simply stunning! The hidden cave in the cliff is awesome, and your plant and vegetation is very realistic and dense. Top draw stuff

This is the second MOC ive viewed of yours and im stunned! This has to be the best work ive ever seen, amazing detail and originality with the parts usage. Love the cobbled flooring, and the green building is remarkable! :)

Show Your Army, Navy, and Collection Display

Wow i love the display unit youve built, please reveal your techniques for this! Also, there are some fantastic armies here, i will take some pictures soon, i have around 300 SW minifigs so far, just gotta arrange them :) -
Great review! Sadly this is another victim in the ridiculously overpriced bracket. £79.99 for 584 pieces? That is the worst price ive ever seen for a Lego set. It even gives lil Barriss Offee a run for his money! For £5 less i could get the battle of endor (890 pieces) or medieval market village for £10 less with a staggering 1601 pieces!!!!!

Good job, the generator looks great, nice scene!
-
Wow, love the way you have them displayed! Great collection!
-
Wow this is splendid! The foliage outside the entrance really brings the piece alive with colour. I wish i had this amount of lego to build with, how many pieces avg did you use?
-
Simply stunning, all i have to say
-
Its cool that you get this fig free with the slave 1, how much is the slave 1 going to be? It wont be out in the uk til august :(
-
Great review! The thing that puts me off this and the whole new toy story line is the horrendous price, way way too expensive for the size and piece count. Not impressed
-
I was planning on collecting the toy story range, this set looks cool for figs but now they have released a new range, all expensive i think ill knock it on the head and stick with star wars!

What other SW "Battle Packs" would you like to see?
MandalorianWig replied to BearHeart's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Thanks buddy, didnt see any other topics! Thanks for not being an megablocks about it like on most other forums, if you make one mistake you get assaulted by anyone and everyone! Indeed, ewok battle pack is what im praying for soon -
Simply amazing! This is stunning, i bet you never want to dismantle this one! How many parts were used?
-
Wow, this building is amazing, you should seriously show this to TLG, i would love to buy one!
-
Where do you find these then? I want to assure myself one as i missed the chrome darth vader last year :(
-
What an excellent thread! Some of you guys have amazing rooms full of lego! I use the small multi compartment cases used for beads etc.. for accessories, and plastic tubs for bricks. Im hoping to get some of the toolbox type multi draw units shown on here soon :)
