Well, I just recently got Deep Sea Striker and The Atlantis Exploration HQ a few weeks ago. I must say, they are both quite nice sets and I will try to get a review for Deep Sea Striker up later today. However, I liked the Exploration HQ more.

Yeah, it stinks that PM is ending so soon. Oh well, it was a nice theme while it lasted. I agree that it would be great if we had 1 more set which was a big exclusive set, but i doubt it.

Here is another review by yours truly (Jeez, I am reviewing sets like Thunder. ). I'm going to review The World Racers set : Desert of Destruction. This is one of the biggest sets I have reviewed so far, so there will be alot of pictures. Onto the review : Name : 8864 Desert of Destruction Theme : World Racers Minifigs : 8 Pieces : 961 Let's start with the front box (Sorry guys, my camera wouldn't let me fit the whole box) : Back of the box (Explains what is inside of the Pitstop Truck) : Side view of the Box (It's a tug-o-war Match between Team X-Treme and Backyard Blasters) : Now, let's move onto the figures. Here is Team X-Treme Daredevil's Crew. We have, REX-Treme, MAX-treme (I didn't make up these names, they are on the descriptions of the sets), and 3 pitstop members. Oh and you gotta love those Lime Green Caps : Here is their back heads. Only 1 Pitstop member has a back face. Why he is the only pitstop Member with a back face is beyond me, but perhaps he is a subsitute if one of the racers gets hurt. That's my guess, but then again, he does operate the crane in the truck : Here is Team Backyard Blaster's Crew. They are very outnumbered however. They are, Bart Blaster and Bubba Blaster (I posted these names in the World Racers topic and what they look like, so look there for more info) : Their Back heads : Here is the ref. Unlike the one from Gator Swamp, he doesn't seem to happy. Perhaps He is mad that he is out in a burning hot desert with loud Motors. Oh and he doesn't have a back head expression : Here is the Trophy stand. It is somewhat similar to the one in Snake Canyon. You don't build this untill the last bag, but still, It's something neat that In my opinion, should have been build first. The Trophy has a picture of a Desert on it : Now, I'm going to go out of order a bit here, but here are the Instruction Booklets (1 is for the Trucks, 2 is for the pitstop Truck and 3 is for the rest of the Pitstop Truck and Trophy stand) : Random Instruction Page (Also, there is a gold Mine of stickers in this set.. ) : Now, let's move onto the trucks. Here is Team X-Treme Daredevil's Truck : Side View. Also, you are probably wondering why those smaller wheels don't match with the bigger ones. They are from the pitstop truck, but I'll get to that later : Another Side View : Back View. Believe it or not, but you can change the engines with the Pitstop Truck Crane! That engine is from the pitstop as well. I'll get to that later though : Now, let's move onto Team Backyard Blaster's Truck. I'm surprised they reused the Zurg Blaster from Construct-A-Zurg so early, since it only came out a few months ago. Oh well, that adds the fun to it : Side View : Another Side View : Back View (There is a control pannel in front of Bart Blaster and yes, it was a Sticker) : Oh and speaking of Zurg's Blaster.. (It had to be done. ) : Now, let's move onto the Pitstop Truck! I had to take pictures of the truck seperatly due to how Big My Camera takes the pictures. Here is the front of the truck : Side View : Another Side View (I love How they have Team X-Treme's logo on the roof) : Back View (I like that little lamp thing and The Truck has this little brown pole that connects with that hole in the back) : Here is the inside of the Driver seat : Now to move onto the next section of the Truck : The Pitstop. Here is the front of it, which has a Worker controlling a classic old missle launcher : Here is a side view (I did say there was alot of stickers, but I must say, I did like some of them) : Another Side View : Here is the inside of the Pitstop. Here are the items from left to right : A Nitro Fuel Tank, A Back-Up Engine, and A Table with tools. And the tires there actually go onto X-Treme's truck and the others go there : Here is a close-up of the crane (Oh and that bag isn't mine) : Team X-Treme comes to the pitstop and gets ready to get their Truck fixed. The Crane Operator picks up the back-up engine and they take the old one out and put the new one in (I love this feature!) : There new engine has been put in (The one that was in before is actually the back-up engine, but I just wanted to mix it around) : The Crane operator then puts in some new wheels : To finish off this nice Truck, here is a back view : They are now in a heated match..Who Will win? : ------------- Minifigures- 5/5 : Excellent Figures! Would have been nice though if there was 1 more figure, like a pitstop member for Team Backyard Blasters though. But I do love those Green caps and the Pitstop members themselves. Also, Bubba blaster is now my favorite character. The Parts- 4/5 : Not much really interesting here, although that Nitro engine was pretty nice. Again, there were alot of stickers, but I admit, I actually somewhat liked them. I didn't really recall any new pieces. But It was also nice they brought back the Zurg Blaster. The Trucks- 5/5 : The Trucks are awesome! I love how you can change the engine for Team X-Treme's and Team Backyard Blaster's ball launcher. It would have been nice if they had a Pitstop for Backyard Blasters as well, but that would make it longer and raise the price more. Overall- 9/10 : It's the biggest and probably the greatest set out of the World Racers theme so far. But again, it would have been nice if Backyard Blaster's had a pitstop as well. Maybe next year if they are still around, we will see their Pitstop but I'm not getting my hopes up. Lots of play features and I'm sure little kids will love to bash the trucks around and shoot missles. It can get a little boring, but still can be fun if you add some stuff on it (Like How I added another Ball Launcher onto Blaster's Truck from earlier). I would recommend this set and it is not bad. Well, that is all. Hope you enjoyed!

Sorry if this has been mentioned already, but the Team Member's names have been revealed (From Descriptions of the sets) : Team X-Treme Daredevil's Members : DEX-treme is the guy with the Red and Green glasses. MAX-treme is the guy the Red scarf and Red glasses. REX-treme is the guy with the serious/mad face. Team Backyard Blaster's Members : Bubba Blaster is the Grumpy member who is kinda fat (No Offense to him ). Bart Blaster is the guy with the Sideburns and has an angry face. Billy Bob Blaster is the guy with the Glass Red eye. Not bad names.

Hello all. As you know, I spotted this set yesterday at my Toys R Us. I was very excited to see this, since I had been looking forward to getting this set. I have better image quality, and thank you to the people who helped me. Anyways, onto the review : Set Number : 5984 Name : Lunar Limo Theme : Space Police III Pieces : 391 Minifigs : 3 Year Released : 2010 Front box : Back of the Box (Explains some of the features in this set) : Side View of the box (Jawson is either being brave or being dumb. ) : Now, let's move onto the Minifigs. You gotta Love Brick Daddy's (Or As I would call him," The Pimp Daddy" ) purple hat. Also, did anyone notice the Gun has a new mold? Oh and Brick Daddy's head can glow in the dark! Here they are (From left to right, Jawson, Brick Daddy, and a Commando) : Back View of them. Before you ask, Jawson is wearing a Prison Jacket, which is why his body is orange (I didn't make this up, There are numbers on his body and he has pockets) : Here is a close-up of the New Gun Mold : Here is Brick Daddy's Gattling Ship. I admit, it's a pretty nice weapon/vechile he has. Although, it is hard to fit him sometimes : Alright, now to move onto the Main Prize of this set : The Limo. Here is a front view (You push the golden cone thing to shoot a missle) : In fact, here is a close-up of the Golden Brick Daddy head (Since That was in the previous picture). It is pretty much the same as Brick Daddy's head, just golden : Here is a back view (His limo must have been really beat up to have all those scratches ) : But wait, that is not all for the back of the Limo! You can even hide the Officer in the trunk (Nice feature). Oh and the back sign says," Brick Mamba." I'll go ahead and say that is the name of The Limo. : Here is another nice Front view (Golden Engines? Golden Brick Daddy heads? He must be rich. What is next? Golden Jetpacks? ) : Here is the inside of the Limo. Jawson is the driver and Brick Daddy has his nice own seat : Here is a side view (Those Yellow windows are pretty cool) : Another side view (Those wings seem beat up as well, and yes, they were stickers) : Oh and here is the Limo with Jawson and Brick Daddy in it : Instruction Booklet (There were 4 bags in total. Don't worry about the DSS, there weren't many stickers) : Random Instruction Page : Here is a page showing all the 2010 criminals and sets ( Brick Daddy just doesn't want stay to say Hi to the reader ) : Here is the parts list : The Officer has caught up with Jawson and Brick Daddy! : The Brick Daddy escapes in his Gattling Gun ship, and the Officer is in high pursuit. However.. ..He was no match for his Gattling Ship and his Jetpack broke and he fell back toward the limo! : Despite the fact that Brick Daddy escaped and the Officer's Jetpack broke, he managed to capture Jawson (Who was to lazy to leave the limo) : Brick Daddy is watching you..Respect him! : ----------------- The Minifigures- 5/5 : You gotta love Brick Daddy. That was what brought the grade up for this set. Jawson is nice, even though you can get him in all of the new 2010 Summer sets. They gave the officer a new face, which I like. I always like that scared face. Pieces- 5/5 : Nice pieces in Gold (Like the engine). Even some purple pieces were in here as well. That golden Brick Daddy head is also another nice piece. There could have been some more in the Limo, but no matter, still a great set. The Limo- 4/5 : Again, there could have some more details inside the Limo (Like a TV or some Game table for Brick Daddy). But the Control pannel for Jawson is nice, and the Officer fitting in the Trunk was nice as well. Also, there could have been some more weapons other than that Missle. They could have added some Flick-Fire weapons in. Overall- 9/10 : An excellent Space Police set to add to your collection. The Only thing that lowered the grade was, there could have been some more details in it. But like I said before, that is what MOC's are for. It's a decent set to get 2 out of the 3 new aliens in. I would recommend this set for some great features. Still, not a bad set and I would buy it. Hope you guys enjoyed.

Yeah, it is a pretty good set. I might try to get a review up later. There are alot of pieces in Gold and Purple. The Brick Daddy is a nice figure as well and there are alot of play features. So yeah, I'd say it would be worth it.

Part 2 Time! Thanks for your help guys. I managed to get better pictures by using a Grey background. I might try white next time. Anyways, Time for Part 2 : Let's start with Team X-Treme Daredevil's Boat shall we? Here is an overhead view : Here is a side view (Yes, I did warn you there will be ALOT of stickers. 2 sheets of them to be exact..) : Another side view (I'm not sure if they are safe in those turning chairs..) : Here is a back view. I love the wheel feature in the back that makes it look like the boat floats when you Move it along : I have some good news and bad news for this Comment. The Good news is Team X-Treme has weapons as well. But the bad news is, the Missles Barely work at all. You pull the rod back and it hits the missle and it is suppose to fly out. The other missle is attached to a black holder piece : Alright, Let's move on to Backyard Blaster's Boat. Here is an overhead view (Is it just me, or is their boat a bit more detailed then X-Treme's boat?) : Here is a side view. I love those blade weapons. Although, shouldn't the shark sticker be a Crococile? I mean, they are racing in a swamp, and that Shark Sticker should have been used for Jagged Jaws Reef. Just my opinion though : Another side view : Here is a close-up of the Land-Mine piece Launcher. It works much Better then X-Treme's Missle launcher. You put one in the Grey holder and hit the little grey piece to launch it. Let's Hope the landmines don't hit my camera. : To finish off their boat, here is a nice Back view. The "Floating" feature works kind of the same as X-Treme's Boat does, but a bit differently. The wheels connect down behind the Propeller. It was kinda hard to put together though. : Here are the Instruction Booklets (Oh and there were 3 bags I believe) : Random Instruction Page : Who will win? Well, that is for you to decide : ---------------------------- The Minifigures- 5/5 : I just love the figs in this set. That pitstop member blew me away with his orange hat. The crew members are pretty detailed looking and nice as well. Their back heads are ok, but I was expected them to have more scared faces than that. Oh well, that are still cool. Pieces- 4/5 : Like with the pitstop member, those BIONICLE pieces blew me away as well. I did like the return of the big Boat platform (It was used for X-Treme's Boat). I was a little disappointed how Backyard Blasters Didn't get that piece for their boat though. Boats- 4/5 : The Missle launcher for X-Treme's Boat brought this grade down. They could have replaced the missle launcher with some catapult, but hey, I guess it was better than nothing. They could at least made a way for them to work better though. But that is what MOCs are for. Overall- 9.7/10 : Again, there were some things that brought the grade down that could have made it a perfect set (The missle launcher). But there were some good things too, like the Pitstop Platform, The Crocodile, and The BIONICLE Spike Pieces. It's not a bad set to buy, but If you are looking for a vechile with working weapons, then I would pass. But if you are a person who loves boats, then this is a set you should get. The Orange hat is another thing that you may want to buy the set for. Well, that is all. I think I did better than my last review. Hope you guys enjoyed.
