  1. nice pics! loving the greenery in the back, with the sunlight and everything. :'D that castle is pretty sweet looking too!
  2. haha, that was my last set too! ;D
  3. hehehe you're very right. I was never bored with it. It was my first big set, and I still have it somewhere (though lost a couple of flags and such) it's really a nice set. good review aswell!
  4. haha lol thanks for plugging! i liked your review. and i do wish they made more of these sets! even some bigger ones. ;\
  5. hahaha yeh, though to my defense, I was only 8 at the time. Must have been conjuring up fake memories, lmao! But yeh, there was a lot going on in that picture, hehehe! (that guy trying to push the gator back doesn't seem too panicky considering there's people swimming there, lol!)
  6. ooooh this is wonderful! great review! that's one big platform too. aww i want it!
  7. Lorentzen, I love that kitchen. I wish I had that kitchen. haha <3 anyway. Great review! Now I really want that set too. lmao i didnt notice the stairs going into the water until you said so, and then it kinda annoyed me too, but hey, the probably went up there from their boats anyway.. also, that trap just made this set a lot better imo. I didn't know it had a trap! ooh i want this set now, lol!
  8. oh dear lord. beautiful. the monorail fits so perfectly. and not to mention your whole town is lovely. i am so jealous, haha! oh looooord. why aren't we neighbours so I can come look at it in real life? gahhhh!
  9. Ah right, thanks guys! I guessed it was part of the Lego Town, as couldn't think of any other sets, haha. BUT it was Gator Landing, I'm almost positive it was that. That plane struck something in me so I'm guessing it was that. (though in my head it was a bridge between two "rocks" in a way.) However, the Rocky River retreat actually looked more interesting!
  10. Okay, so I have this mental image of a set I never actually looked too much into, and now i'm dying to know what set it is. It's been bugging me for ages. From what I remember, the catalog was from 1995, but I couldn't find the set when searching online for a catalog from that year. The pictures were crammed together, as if to fit almost with eachother, and I remember there was a Paradisa set on the left side. It was either this or ^ most likely this cause i was drooling so badly over it, hahahaha, but I'm not completely sure, cause I only remember that "upper" floor on the Paradisa set. Anyway, on the right side of the catalog, was this set I am looking for. It was a bridge, and I believe a truck going over it. It had this "foresty" feel over it. Jungle even. I don't remember if there was a cottage aswell, I just remembert that bridge cause I liked it so much. It could be in the catalogs from 1995 - 1997/98 I think. (that royal knight castle was from 1995 right? cause I think that was featured in the catalog, but I'm not sure. There was also a DUPLO set featured early on in the catalog. It was a "house" of sorts, and there was a zoo in Duplo aswell I believe. Anyone who knows what this bridge/forest-ish set might be?
  11. I bought this November, 2009. it was my first pirate set, hahaha. I used to dream about this ship when I was a kid! ^ i poured all the legos on the shaggy carpet. only to open the manual and see that sign. haha. :'D
  12. this was my first (and only) castle theme. later on, years after, i got this dragon and a wizard with some potions or something. just a tiny little box. but this castle was the first big set i got as a little girl. yeehaw! hahaha. =D
  13. hehe thank you! =)
  14. Hi everyone! I'm new here, obviously. =) I'm a 22 (as of tomorrow) years old girl, from Norway. I used to live and breathe for LEGOs when i was a kid. I had one of those big castles, and some of the paradiso stuff, and lots of the western stuff! before christmas I got myself that pirate ship! haha =D can't say i'm an psycho avid fan of LEGOs, mostly cause it's not something I'd afford, but I do love the old school castles, and western. also the police stuff intrigued me. I'm dying to have some real mafia-legos, or even the paradiso stuff back. (i wish so badly for that famous beach house thing!) anyway. i'm usually good at sticking around forums, so I hope i will settle in nicely here. I love looking at all your pics. Nice stuff!
