  1. Congratulations. I very much hope we are all given the chance to buy your wonderful MOC in the future.
  2. In October Lego are doing double VIP points, both in store and online. Hence why I am waiting until Saturday to get my SSD.
  3. Hello there! Not really much of a CMF collector, we just buy a few here and there. The Star Wars collection is going great guns though just having received a Death Star and bought the UCS Imperial Shuttle.

  4. Hi, fancy seeing you here! Hows the CMF collection going?

  5. My better half got it from the Lego online store. Likewise, I bought the shuttle from the online store too, for £183.99 inc. free delivery and 233 VIP points. All those VIP points add up eventually, I have £50 worth right now!
  6. I just received the 10188 Death Star this morning for my birthday. With that and my, just shipped from Lego, 10212 Imperial Shuttle I am going to be a very busy builder in the coming weeks!
  7. Excellent news, that will be about 15 minutes from where I live. I was keeping my fingers crossed they would be opening one there. :)
  8. Finally bought myself the 8098 Clone Turbo Tank today, just getting ready to build whilst watching the F1 in Canada. Should be a great evening!
  9. A new picture, so exciting! Second row from the bottom, far right - is that a new IG-88? His head looks looks slighty different to the previous one, possibly just the burry pic though.
  10. That is really unfortunate fella. I know of some people who put through orders later on in the day (also in the UK) and did get the Shdaow ARF, I feel for you. I also went for a Tantive IV which, exactly like you, I have been holding out for an offer before purchasing. I placed my order at 6.30am on the 3rd but had still not had a confirmation email for it by mid morning on the 4th. I had spoken to customer services twice the previous day and they had told me that due to the huge amount of traffic the web site was experiencing, some issues were cropping up. For example some orders were getting very delayed in their system and some were not having the ARF figiure added even though it should have been. With this in mind I decided to go to the Lego retail store at Westfield in London as I had a day off and it is about a one hour round trip. I'm glad I did because when I finally got home around 2pm my confirmation email was finally waiting, however my Shadow ARF was showing as being on back order. I guess this means I would not have gotten one. I think it is fair to say that Lego probably under estimated the demand this would cause and were therefore somewhat unprepared. Knowing how excellent there customer service is, hopefully this is something they will be very keen to avoid in the future. Jamzee, it might be worth a polite follow call to Lego stating how you are aware there were some problems that day and know of people who ordered later in the day than you and did get the free minifig. Maybe they will be able to find you one hidden away somewhere?
  11. Hiya! Not quite: Millennium Falcon: $139.99 Republic Frigate: $119.99 Podracers: $89.99 Sith Infiltrator: $59.99 Geonosian Starfighter $29.99 Ewok Attack & Dathomir Speeder: $24.99 This thread is a very good source for any info on upcoming sets: 2011 News Topic Without appearing to be rude, I would suggest you check there before asking these sort of questions in the future, especially when you already know, by your own admission, that asking is a "No-No". Anyway I hope that helps, I too am very much looking forward to these sets.
  12. Is it just me that thinks they have made Leia look like a transvestite? What have they done to her?!
  13. ^ I made my order a little over three hours ago and haven't had my email yet either. However this isn't something to be concerned about as it usually takes a few hours.
  14. I'm in the UK and although there was a button for me to click at the checkout stage which I duly clicked, there is no mention of the poster or the minifig on my order. Like Future74 I decided to give S@H a quick call and spoke to a very friendly lady. She told me that due to the huge volume of customers the Lego website was experiencing currently they were having some issues with the sytem adding the minifig notification to the order. She believed this would be fixed later today. She went on to say that it should automatically be added to my order but would check later and give me a call. This is the first time I have called Lego and the service was excellent, I wish every customer service centre was like this!
