From the official press statement from July 2011 : ...The LEGO X-Men collection includes minifigure comic versions of Wolverine, Magneto, Nick Fury and Deadpool, while the LEGO Spider-Man sets offer minifigure comic versions of Spider-Man, and Doctor Octopus...

It is the Batman you can see on the game artwork

Well, I am asking myself the same question, crying after the price I paid for the NYCC not-so-exclusive minifig .....

Which I think is more probably right. We might see some Tumbler set or some catwoman bike though. LEGO did not confirm officially anything about TDKR yet, this is for sure. No press release even mentions the movie. Nobody saw anything about news TDKR sets. Until I meet the rep with clear prelims or pics of TDKR sets, I will not believe anything about this.....

From the LEGO press statement about Disney/Marvel License : »…three Marvel franchises – Marvel’s The Avengers movie, and X-Men and Spider-Man classic characters... » So as you say, no Spiderman movie license only for Avengers
-
I Still prefer that they postpone this potential show because of the cost of CGI, just to avoid seeing a stupid talking drama in the SW universe with some Battlestar-Nothing-happening-but-talking-Galactica feeling...
-
Acutally this was an article from variety that was extrapolated from the official press statement which never mentionned TDKR

Ok, My two cents about this : The Avengers Movie is scheduled on Late April/May 2012. Marvel Range will come out for the movie as it is confirmed by LEGO that this part will be based on the movie itself : Statement from LEGO : The LEGO SUPER HEROES Marvel collection's initial construction sets, minifigures and buildable characters are scheduled to launch in May of 2012 and ...The LEGO SUPER HEROES Marvel collection will spotlight three Marvel franchises – Marvel’s The Avengers movie.... Regarding DC range, January is officially announced by LEGO in the press statement. It says that it is a revamp of the 2006/2008 range or something similar. Statement from LEGO : ...The company will revisit their previous successful collections like LEGO BATMAN™ that also inspired the best-selling LEGO BATMAN: The Videogame... Batman TDKR is scheduled for July 2012. I don't think that there will be any TDKR sets at all , but instead we will see a second wave of DC sets based on comics and following the release of LEGO Batman 2 Videogame, which I suppose will be more like a sequel to the first opus, than a Dark Knight version. Black Batman does not mean TDKR Batman, Batman was already black in the past (7781, 7783 & 7785), then grey, then grey and blue, then grey and black.... About Green Lantern, I think he will be in the game, and so we will see him in a set together with some other justice league characters like Batman, Superman, etc.... I'm afraid that DC and Marvel are on two different levels here : DC on comics/video game - Marvel on Avengers movie, and maybe a video game I think that LEGO will use benefit of TDKR but will not produce anything related to it. Maybe I am wrong after all, just my 2 cents....

Where this Arkham Asylum set story comes from ? I mean if it comes from some real source and not speculation....

I was very impressed by the work of this guy, specially when you put all his work back in the time perspective. It's a luck that his work is still online....

You mean this ? I was talking about it a while ago, after some extended searching also for the same stuff : http://www.hothbricks.com/2011/10/vintage-lego-star-wars-trilogy-par-maestro-s-fujita/

Whatever is Cuusoo about it is certainly not about a place for kids to come and claim Bionicle back, or for some idiot to present his family as a project.... 2 sets came out in the past from this initiative, when it was still under control. They are not impressive but they still gave all people around some idea of what is possible through this concept. Today, and I agree with Anio on that, it has become a place without any kind of control or quality check. Most of the MOCs there are just ridiculous, and will never be produced for many reasons (licence, size, etc....) Cuusoo was presented as a serious project and a chance for people to get some cash from their work in case of success. LEGO said that, they talked about the royalty system. They advertised based on this concept. Cuusoo is not flickr or brickshelf, and when you go there, you just understand there is no chance at all that some day, some guy with some MOC would get a few dollars back.... Cuusoo is not a kid project, concept is clearly oriented towards skilled people who can expect to propose something LEGO could produce and sell. I was confident in this project when it opened to all world, because I think there are many people around that are capable to compete with the best LEGO designers. But come on, I always read here and there that LEGO is not listening to people, and for once they tried to do it on a proper way and kids burnt everything. Anyway it is already too late now, Cuusoo has become a place for morons to claim Green Grocer back our Bionicle back, filled with stupid ideas, cheap MOCs and family pictures from idiots. LEGO failed in some extend. But they at least proved that a lot of LEGO fans are not capable to understand the meaning of such a nice idea. Still, even if it's all about ideas, "Bring back Bionicle" or "Look at my wife" are not ideas. If LEGO was taking this seriously, they would filter, moderate, to protect the serious ideas from idiots. Press release was clear about the concept : "Ideas that are supported by 10,000 votes have a chance of being selected to become part of the LEGO Group’s product portfolio and sold in LEGO Brand retail stores and the LEGO online shop. Consumers who have their ideas chosen will earn 1% of the total net sales of the product" Luckily, LEGO says it's Beta, which allows to withdraw everything without having to admit they failed.

Well, contract and agreement is multi-year, but nothing is certified about commercial line-up lasting after first wave. Sales will tell
