  1. I've not LDD here, but let's try:

    - Close LDD, if opened.

    - Look for the preferences.ini file in your user directory (the precise location depends on the operating system).

    - Open the file with a text editor (for example, notepad).

    - Find the line containing the recently opened sets (it should start with "RecentModels=...").

    - Delete all the entries, Save the file, Start LDD again.

  2. [...] if anyone familiar with it knows if you can set a price to every piece (like the average it allows you to set the pieces to) and then upload a wanted-list that INCLUDES those set prices as maximums.

Did you try to contact the author of Brickstore or check if there is another utility that makes the work?

The new index enlist various utilities, perhaps one of that is good for you.

  3. 9461 The Swamp Creature (LDD 4.2 - Theme: Monster Fighters)

    Thanks for the contribution.

    You should regularize your entry:

    • image is oversized: you should stay inside a 512x512px square.
As the set is small, a smaller size is more desirable (a 256/320px wide image is a more adequate size for it).
    • image has horizontal and vertical blank stripes: you have to crop the image before resize it.
    • lxf file missing: share the lxf file is necessary if you want to post a set in this topic.
Look at the guide linked by legolijntje if you have any difficulties.

I suggest you to read the rules in the first post of this topic. :classic:

PS: about missing pieces and decorations, it would be better if you would find a replacement for that, if there is any suitable.

Similar pieces and brick build solutions are often used by other builders.

    EDIT:

I see you correctly cropped the image, now you should resize it. If you have any difficulties to do that, ask and we'll try to help you.

Anyway, as I wrote editing your post, I can't accept the image if you don't share the lxf file. Again, if you have any difficulties...

A little thing again. Looking at your screenshot it seems some colours are wrong. For example the legs of the hunter or the body of the creature.

I suggest you to check colours using, for example, this table and an inventory like this.

  4. The topic is well structured.

Perhaps you could add some informations about installation of softwares and LDraw library, for example speaking about the "all in one" package and the difference between the standard LDraw library and more complete solutions.

Could be in the future you can add something about contributing to add models and decorations to the library and how to add and use personal files with LDraw related softwares.

  5. About the [KEY TOPIC] tag, yes, I thought to add it. I want to think about that a little more, but probably I'll do that soon.

About the use of the index, I was thinking to add a little showcase in the first post with the more used topics. Probably I'll do that when the "work in progress" stage will be completed.

I made subdivisions so that it should be easy to find all the common topics. Easy, but not necessarily very fast!

Anyway, I don't think to pin other topics. We want few pinned topics that every user read.

Pin many topics could be comfortable for access that quickly, but it is a problem when you want to highlight few important ones.

Beside, topics that should be pinned for an easy access are really too much, and it is impossible to pin all that. Pin only some of that will be a compromise anyway, so I think it is better to put all that topics in the index instead.

  6. Comments about new Index and new Section Rules topics

In order to make the section more easy for old and new users, we are creating a new index and a section rules topic. Have a look and tell us if there is something you think should be added, removed, moved. Any suggestion about how to improve the index is welcome.

Remember that, for now, it is a work in progress, so don't worry if something is still incomplete or only draft.

PS: for those topics that have to be created or reconditioned, we accept volunteers!

  10. Rules for LEGO Digital Designer and other digital tools section.

    • Create a New Topic
Before creating a new topic, look if there is another general topic dealing with the same thing.
All main topics are indexed in the Section Index topic.

    • Post a MOC in this section
As general rule, a MOC should be posted in the respective Theme section (e.g: a MOC representing a little castle should be in "LEGO Historic Themes" section).
A MOC can be posted in the Digital Design forum if shows some interesting digital building techniques or similar. If so, please share the digital file(s) (.lxf, .mpd, .ldr, .l3b, ...)

    • Images posted in this section
The general rules for Eurobricks forum is that the maximum size for images included in a post is 1024x768 pixel, but you are encouraged to use smaller images if possible, and to crop empty borders. Bigger images can be posted as text link or using clickable thumbnails.
NOTE: Some topics could have special rules about images. For example the "[KEY TOPIC] Official LEGO Sets made in LDD" thread allows images up to 512x512 pixel. Read topic's rules in the first post for further informations.

  11. @Calabar I don't detect the browser but only the fact that webgl is starting. Maybe your graphic card is not compatible...
Because of security concerns around the webgl api design, it's only enabled on a tiny number of whitelisted graphics cards/driver versions. So even having the right browser isn't enough to ensure you'll be able to run it. Shame as it sounds like an interesting project otherwise.

Ok, it seems we have found the problem.

I didn't know about a whitelist, and in this computer I've an old GF6100 integrated graphics.

I thought WebGL would run on every OpenGL capable computer.
