I agree. The front of the building is very inviting but the rear looks unfinished.

If you have a decent point and shoot camera, use it. It would greatly improve the MOC's visual quality if you used better lighting. The blood may be a bit over the top, I would use less bricks for the blood.

4. Inn by Dix (2 Points) 6. Bicycle Shop by Darkblane (2 Points) 21. Winter Festival by SI-mocs (1 Point)

I would replace the tan plates at the rear of a car with a 1x3 white plate and have the sticker in the middle. The bonnet in particular stands out quite well, It wouldn't look quite as good now if it had been a four-wide car.

...when you colour your bedroom walls in Green Grocer green, Fire Brigade redish-brown curtains/duvet/cusions and Grand Emporium beige furniture! I'm actually doing that :)

I've attempted to build some of my own more realistic look scaffolding for building sites. Hopefully this gives you some inspiration. Alternative design

10159-1: City Airport for playability and the 10185-1: Green Grocer set for it's huge amount of pieces and design that inspired me to build some of my own modular buildings

How did they manage to build the fence? I've got about 8 of those lattice bricks I could use. The second image looks like something I built a while ago. These two MOCs were made by Lego Tom from flickr

That's an amazing MOC. There's certainly a good use of Atlantis elements. I've been working on my own Modular bank based on this set, it's half the size and not quite as grand.

Can't wait until the full review. I'm loving the detail/colour of those torsos

I don't mind if it's a pet shop either. I use the Grand Emporium as a Museum and the Fire Brigade as a Army Base :P

Here are some of my favourites. They're mainly photo's of citizens for a mock newspaper I write. http://img822.imageshack.us/img822/3729/harryp.png http://img215.imageshack.us/img215/3387/nighttimebuilding.png http://img40.imageshack.us/img40/3000/phillipp.png http://img259.imageshack.us/img259/6668/pict0327c.jpg http://img833.imageshack.us/img833/5146/pict0329h.jpg http://img338.imageshack.us/img338/6866/kilroyresigns.png

Purchase in bulk from Pick a Brick
Ambo100 replied to BryanKinkel's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Some stores are listed here and are updated by customers. -
Isn't this at Leeds Castle? As luck would have it. I've already visited a website from the manufactures. This type of vehicle is called a road train and you can find some images and infomation here. They're also the same company that produced the train for Legoland Windsor.

I apolagise if this has been posted before but I have found a wallpaper on the Lego site which features some of the new police sets. The images of the sets are higher quality than I have seen elsewhere. Link

It might be worth noting that many bricks have a design id on them, they are very small and are found on the newer bricks. Once you've found the ID you can look it up on the Bricklink parts catalouge.

It's the first time I've tried Lego Photography this close. You can clearly see all the dents and bruises as well as dust in these photos :( Mayor/President/King with bodyguard Chauffeur awaiting the company of a V.I.P. Security Guard reacts to the alarm (Flash off)

Struggling to make my own model I decided to make a collage for my brick shelf. It's made out of Lego Club magazines, Catalogues and set instructions This shelf has basic coloured bricks and plates :) Inside one of the drawers, I made my own crude dividers out of spare cardboard and brown tape :p Other parts of my Lego storage are strongly inspired by the examples shown in this topic.

Why are people exited about the tan cheese bricks? :s

These pictures are great :D I would love to know how you took them and what lighting you used :)

Thanks for spotting that, you will see that i've fixed that problem the next time I update the kit. I also have a Star Wars part of the kit that hasn't been updated in ages.
