  1. The upcoming hospital should be 4-6 stories in height. The design of the hospital building should be unique, futuristic, and sleek, not boring and unoriginal like it's been done before. It should include a reception, waiting area, a doctor's office, several surgery and recovery rooms, a full-sized ambulance, doctor's car, and a helicopter, plus an entrance where EMTs can wheel patients through, garages for the vehicles, and a helipad. A wheelchair should be introduced in this set, including a ramp for it. The hospital cannot be built on a hill, as it did in 7892, because it does not make any sense. Finally, the hospital should all be built on a single 32x32 baseplate that can be integrated easily into any city; it is possible to fit a decent-sixed hospital on to a 32x32 baseplate if space is not wasted and used effectively, especially if your city, like mine, is high density and cannot afford to waste space.
  2. I have never owned a Lego super car before, but I really look forward to this one . Based on what I see, this set will not have transmission because the box art suggests that the control lever operates the opening hood, doors, and spoiler using Power Functions, which I think will be interesting. However, the engine, suspension, detail, and aesthetics all look spectacular, and I really hope this car is an all wheel drive. Even if it does not live up to expectations, that'll be alright because this is just a Lego set, and nothing is perfect.
  3. Actually, this is not half of a house, it is a full, complete house. Note the finishing roof tiles on the very top of the roof. Lego buildings have always been designed to have an open back to maximize playability. Regarding this topic, I disagree with you, but other than that, great detailed review. If you want to add a TV, you can simply hang a 4x4 black plate from the ceiling, in front of the sofa and table. Also, with that empty room in the top floor, you can add a bathroom, or a bedroom for the boy. The final picture with the kid spying is very funny! This set is now available in Canada for $54.99 CAD.
  4. Your thread is very thorough and detailed . I have experienced similar problems with some of my older Lego bricks, what with the cracking headlight pieces and cracking 1x1 round transparent pieces. You might also want to add that 1x1 and 1x2 bricks also start to develop cracks after some years of use. I don't know if you've noticed, but bricks that are one stud wide (1x2, 1x3, 1x4, 1x6 etc.) can have either solid or hollow tubes underneath. The solid-tubed bricks clasp stronger, while the hollowed-tubed bricks have a noticeably weaker clasping power. Also, you've talked about how the plastic on the walkie-talkie peel off as a result of trying to put it into a minifigure's hand. You can avoid this by sliding the handle into the hand, from the top or bottom of the hand, and it won't damage the piece.
  5. The set 1063 (Community Workers), from the year 1985, costed $3000 USD .
