  1. I'm blown away by this MOC, just saw instructions for sale on ebay. Could you let me know what is the approximate cost to bricklink this MOC?
  2. Right. Han wrote on his web site that pneumatics that he used left no space for the motors and IR receivers. I would love a version without a pneumatics but with PF functions. Would be awesome if Han created a B model like that. Also it appears now that low loader and dump truck are no longer free. They are 10 euros for instructions. Very small price to pay. I'd pay double or triple for that PF dump truck. Just in case Han is reading this. :)
  3. To resurect this topic. Is there instructions floating somewhere for motorizing and RC'ing Hans dump truck. It is absolutely awesome but from playability perspective I have two 6 year old kids, it will go a long way if they could Remotely control it. I can live without pneumatic functions gear drive tilt is fine. Hans lowloader along with Jurgen's ultimate crane and excavator gave us almost full construction vehicle garage all is missing is a dump truck. :).
  4. Hi again still no luck with my outriggers extending on my ultimate 42009 my rear ones seem to bind when I try to extend them by hand and my front ones are free floating. I compeltely dismantle that piece and can find nothing wrong. Any of you guys have your ultimate 42009 with outriggers assembly shown maybe if I can look at pictures it will dawn on me. Thanks a lot for your help.
  5. One more question on Jurgens ultimate mod. on page 127 step 63 of the instructions there are two IR receivers do those need to be set to separate channels? Also the blue motor and orange motor wires do they go to the blue and red contacts of the IR receiver or the same contact stacked? And lastly the yellow motor wire that goes to the second receiver which contact point does that one go blue or red? Another one and I'm done for the night :). is fifth axle suppose to be steerable (i.e. should I have a little black gear on it or is it free floating and turns in relation to first second and third axles via inertia vs gearing. I couldn't go to sleep without trying to test it and it appears I am now stuck. I'm on page 121 and I installed all three medium motors and two IR receivers and tried to test it all. The orange motor works and is used for steering, the yellow motor is for lowering the outrigger supports now the blue motor does absolutely nothing at this point. The best I can see is that the motor is connected to small gray gear which is in turn linked to big white gear but that white gear is not connected to anything so it just turns freely, There is a gray gear behind it but it is not turning when blue motor is running. I've checked all the steps and all my gear placements appear to be correct at this point. By the logic of it blue motor is supposed to be extending outriggers but I just don't see how it can without white gear being connected to anything. Any ideas of what I might have done wrong? Thanks a lot for your help.
  6. Thanks a lot Alex. Quick questions any plans at motorizing the B model of this set? It might make a very nice addition as a dump truck to construction models like ultimate excavator and ultimate crane that are already out.
  7. I'm in the process of building Jurgen's ultimate 42009 and it's a beast. Thanks a lot Jurgen for all the time you spent making it available to us. Have a quick question I'm very new to technic world and looking at instructions for battery box install for the truck it looks like it is getting buried underneath the floorplates of the crane itself so it will make changing batteries problematic and given the size of this beast I don't think that regular battery box will last too long. I have two 6 year olds and we will be using this crane and Jurgen's ultimate excavator to build their lego city :). Has anyone tried installing lego's rechargeable battery box on the truck? And if so would you happen to have instructions. As I said I'm extremely new to technic world and would really hate to mess something up in this massive build. Thanks a lot for your help. And a little off topic question to Jurgen Between your ultimate excavator and Crane and Han's lowloader we almost have full park of construction vehicles. Any plans on creating ultimate motorized RC dump truck? Han's dump truck is awesome but he decided to forego RC drive for pneumatic dump function. Maybe ultimate 9397 B model? :). Thanks again for awesome builds.
  8. Alex thanks a lot for the reply. It completely makes sense now. The instructions are perfect even for a complete novice like me. It was just parts identification that got me a little confused. One more question are all part in your instructions extra parts needed or some of them re-use of the original set. For example I see 10 wheels listed but there are 6 wheels in a set already. I'm trying to avoid buying too many extra parts since they get expensive very fast.
  9. I've managed to identify most of the parts that Alex listed, but still not completely sure about two of them. They are the two bricks listed just below wheels on inventory sheet. Could you tell me what they are? http://s802.photobucket.com/user/matrosov1/media/Internet%20Formus/loggingtruckmotorized2_zpsc0c36f10.jpg.html
  10. Alex this is awesome. I'm just starting out with Technic mods and this is a good project to follow along. Would you happen to have either bricklink or lego part numbers that were required for this mod that you can share with us? Thanks a lot for investing your time into creating instructions this is very useful for total newbies like me
