Thanks a lot for the feedback (and welcome!), it's much appreciated! I'll try messing with the wing tips, but the 2 on top are there to stop this piece from falling out, and I don't have a better way of filling the gap:

Man, I've been checking out all the LEGO creations made here and there for years, but never really had the inspiration (or funds) to make one up myself until recently. I'm pretty new to this whole MOCing thing (at least on this level). This is a small spacecraft that I made up in LDD a few months ago and have just received the final few pieces I needed to finish up. If any of you experts out there have any advice or critiques, please let me know!
