jfbat Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 (edited) Inspired by this design by Criga88, I decided to build my own version of that. I showed the WIP in that topic, but here is the (more or less, I alway keep improving builds somehow) final outcome of that effort. I added a trailer, which is a bit short for such a big rig, but this is where my supply of red wall panels ran out... 1. Front view. Silver grille and wing mirrors added. 2. Overview 3. Side & rear view. 4. Side view with tailgate open 5. Rear view with tailgate open and down 6. Top view with roof of cab removed to show the inside of the now widened up sleeper cab with bed. A minifig won't fit though, but I'm happy with this. Edited June 29, 2014 by jfbat Quote
lightningtiger Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 I it 'jfbat' though the trailer is a bit short ! Brick On Truck On 'jfbat' ! Quote
Criga88 Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 Looking better and better mate, have you put an engine in or is it still hollow up front? Quote
jfbat Posted June 29, 2014 Author Posted June 29, 2014 There is an "engine" up there, but the way I built the bonnet restricts the space a lot. I tried a different way, but then it's just not sturdy enough for me, or the bonnet gets just a bit too wide. It doesn't really bother me though. Quote
2LegoOrNot2Lego... Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 Not really a road train, but still very nice too!!! Quote
mkeller234 Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 You will just have to pretend that the minifig can curl up into his small bed. I think your truck looks great. I like the color selection as well. Quote
