DasMatze Posted May 22, 2014 Posted May 22, 2014 This is my version of the Roger E Broggie from Walt Disney World: The content of the tender as well as the cab are highly improvised. Also this thing may not be able to take turns due to the magnet holder of the loco being blocked by some details. According to Rebrickable there are parts in this MOC that don't exist in this color but according to LDD's limited mode they do exist. Well LDD is not reliable it seems. That's the reason I didn't upload it to Rebrickable. But the LDD file exists anyway: https://www.dropbox.com/s/yjs5w4mvvic5gmx/WDW%20Roger%20E%20Broggie.lxf I hope you like it! Quote
zephyr1934 Posted May 22, 2014 Posted May 22, 2014 That looks like a good, sound design. You got a lot of slopes and details that usually get cut (e.g., the slope of the frame under the cab and the cab roof). At least the red small train wheels look to be non-existant parts. Quote
Lazarus Posted May 23, 2014 Posted May 23, 2014 I like, first train like this what looks decent around the place. Quote
DasMatze Posted May 23, 2014 Author Posted May 23, 2014 Thanks for the comments! e.g., the slope of the frame under the cab Haha, I knew someone would point that detail out. Good thing I decided to keep it (that's the detail that blocks the magnet). At least the red small train wheels look to be non-existant parts. You're right. I thought they were available. Now that I think of it, maybe I'll make a different colored version for real-life use. Quote
Rockmaninoff Posted December 14, 2015 Posted December 14, 2015 Hi, sorry for reviving this really old thread, but I'd really like the LXF for this or your other train. I love the looks of them. Any chance you could reactivate the Dropbox links? Thank you! Quote
THERIZE Posted December 15, 2015 Posted December 15, 2015 (edited) Now this thread is already revived I can add something. The small red wheels are actually available now with the Toy Story train. edit: noticed I'm wrong, sorry. Edited December 16, 2015 by THERIZE Quote
xboxtravis7992 Posted December 15, 2015 Posted December 15, 2015 The red flanged drive wheels yes, but I don't think the blind drive wheels are. Quote
M_slug357 Posted December 15, 2015 Posted December 15, 2015 TLG produces the large drivers as a three piece of F-B-F So, that means that the Toy Story train did in fact come with a pair of blind drivers! I own a copy. Life would be a lot different if TLG produced them in a two piece of F-B... Imagine the original EN set with a 2nd pair of blind's for alternate models... But that's in some alternate universe somewhere...! ((also, in yet another parallel universe, TLG was more aggressive and bought out little start-ups like BB Bricks and ME Models)) Quote
peterab Posted December 15, 2015 Posted December 15, 2015 I'm pretty sure the very small wheels on the pilot truck are still not available in red. http://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?P=50254#T=C Quote
