Mike S Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 Microtronics Corporation fell behind in the technological race with its competitor Hammond Industries. However Microtronics old school engineering continues to be a favorite of small enterprises as it is very durable and easy to maintain. Quote
beartrapper Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 I'm really liking the shape of this! It looks like a companion to the police vehicle from the Lego Movie. Quote
SirBlake Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 I like this a lot! It looks really tough, great mix of blocky and curvy and the red looks great too. Makes me want to build one! Quote
-Horizon- Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 Nice ATV, looks great with your Mech you posted the other day. Quote
LOTRfan Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 This looks great, but maybe swap out the M1919 with the newer M2HB, because the M1919 is a little small. Quote
Mike S Posted April 27, 2014 Author Posted April 27, 2014 I'm really liking the shape of this! It looks like a companion to the police vehicle from the Lego Movie. Thanks! The LEGO Movie police vehicle gave me the inspiration and core structure. I just wanted it to have more room as well as working doors so I came up with this. I like this a lot! It looks really tough, great mix of blocky and curvy and the red looks great too. Makes me want to build one! Thanks! I plan to eventually make directions for all my "Microtronics" line available for free probably in LDD format so that they can be further customized. I have two more vehicles in the works, a dropship and a watercraft. Lego time is severely limited atm so not sure when I will complete them. Also have a 48x48 Microtronics base fairly well along in its building stages. Nice ATV, looks great with your Mech you posted the other day. Thanks! This looks great, but maybe swap out the M1919 with the newer M2HB, because the M1919 is a little small. Thanks! That was all I had on hand at the time but guns can easily be swapped out and added in different places on the vehicle. However as Microtronics is a scientific entity rather than a military one, they tend to underestimate the need for heavy firepower. Quote
