Wat Tambor Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 Hey guys, here is my third and final build for the AoM Archery-category. Originally I inteded to build something like a barrack but it did not turn out that well... And so I decided to combine a bit of everything I have build in the last two phases. John Greencloack and his fellow rangers have destoryed a small orc fortress in the woods the night before. After they have burned down their wooden fortification they cut off the chieftains head to use it as a practice target. Age of Mitgardia - Archery 3rd Phase - by Wat-Tambor on flickr C&C welcome! Thanks for watching! Quote
narbilu Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 Wow ... what a nice archery... I may even borrow your technique on your road tiling. Quote
Gunman Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 Heyyy thats a Lovely MOC Wat Tambor.... Lovely! Lots of small cute details which I love using also! Quote
Lord Vladivus Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 Great build! Love the bust, and all the other great details! Quote
Scaevola Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 Nice job- that's quite a revolting target however . I really like the interior too; keep up the good work Quote
-Carson Haupt- Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 That's great! I love the bust! I'm a little surprised that the other orc isn't a bit more disturbed though. Quote
HammerBro Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 Amazing, man! My favorite is the landscaping, but there's so much detail to look at! And the overall design really reflects what I think a castle training area would look like. Quote
Niku Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 Very nice build it has a many to see and the attention to detail is very good. Well done. Quote
mrcp6d Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 Even though it's flat, that landscaping is top notch The statue/bust is a really nice touch for a school too. Great work! Quote
Wat Tambor Posted April 18, 2014 Author Posted April 18, 2014 Thanks for all the encouraging and warm words! I may even borrow your technique on your road tiling. Feel free to do so! That's great! I love the bust! I'm a little surprised that the other orc isn't a bit more disturbed though. I think there are different types of orcs. Gideon has used them in his Main Gate build and there they seem not that evil. Quote
kabel Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 Great AoM entry, really love those targets and the building in the background! Quote

de Gothia Posted April 19, 2014 Posted April 19, 2014 Lovely build!! Many details that I just love! Like the dk green plumes in the basket! I really like the orc head in the practise area! Quote
soccerkid6 Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 Excellent finish to your Archery phases. The architecture of the building looks good, I like the interior (especially the bust ), and your section of landscape is sweet Quote
Wat Tambor Posted April 23, 2014 Author Posted April 23, 2014 Great AoM entry, really love those targets and the building in the background! Thanks a lot kabel! Lovely build!! Many details that I just love! Like the dk green plumes in the basket! I really like the orc head in the practise area! Thanks a lot! I always try to include as many details as possible. Excellent finish to your Archery phases. The architecture of the building looks good, I like the interior (especially the bust ), and your section of landscape is sweet Thank you! I have to admit that your "Thenwell Castle" creation inspired me to use those grill bricks. Quote
mccoyed Posted April 23, 2014 Posted April 23, 2014 Just beautiful work. I do wonder where everyone gets these neutral-expression orc faces, though. I have only LOTR and Hobbit ones and it's difficult to justify using them for a friendly orc tribe, which is something I've been kicking around since I don't see it often. Quote

The neutral-expression orc faces as you call them are actually (mountain) trolls from an older LEGO Castle / fantasy era -line. http://www.bricklink...em.asp?M=cas368 Edited April 23, 2014 by Wat Tambor Quote
