Lance Posted December 23, 2013 Posted December 23, 2013 My son informed me about this earlier, thought I would post it here for people who live nearby. http://www.redevco.com/Lego_flagship_store_to_be_Promenade_Sainte-Catherine_landmark.pdf This is very exciting news for us, we haven't had a local LEGO Store since we lived in Cardiff. Legogal Posted December 23, 2013 Posted December 23, 2013 Very cool and so far from Paris! Hope they open more for the French…outside of the Paris area. There are so many LEGO collectors in France that they deserve a lot of LEGO stores! Quote
Saint Posted December 23, 2013 Posted December 23, 2013 Jee...... great... and again a store in a country that I'll never visit How about the Netherlands TLC ??? Great news for the French though ! Just one and a half year to go !! grtz Saint Quote
Alfadas Posted December 23, 2013 Posted December 23, 2013 Good news for you people in France. But there are a lot of Lego fans in The Netherlands too, so why doesn't TLG open a store here? Quote
Waaltje Posted December 23, 2013 Posted December 23, 2013 I guess TLG thinks we will all just drive to belgium or germany seeing that is is not that much of a drive. But a official legostore in the netherlands would be so welcome Quote
Lance Posted December 23, 2013 Author Posted December 23, 2013 Bordeaux makes a lot of sense, the area is huge with tourists. Also, a friend of ours who used to work at LEGO in the retail division was told that LEGO are focusing on brand stores in France next. This was about a year ago, so I guess it's happening now. Quote
Legogal Posted December 23, 2013 Posted December 23, 2013 Fingers crossed that the Netherlands gets its own store soon, too! Don't really understand this unless you have a lot of toy shops selling LEGO, and they don't want to upset the apple barrel. Hmmmm... Quote
LEGO Historian Posted December 23, 2013 Posted December 23, 2013 Fingers crossed that the Netherlands gets its own store soon, too! Don't really understand this unless you have a lot of toy shops selling LEGO, and they don't want to upset the apple barrel. Hmmmm... Not to mention all those Bricklink stores in the Netherlands... even though neighboring Germany is much larger... the Netherlands (at 437) has more than 50 BL stores more than all of Germany. So you may be onto something there Legogal... the Netherlands is the most LEGO intensive country in the world... Quote
