LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted September 21, 2013 Posted September 21, 2013 BR 66-002 2-6-4 Steam Locomotive Hello everyone, I have learned to say "never say never" when I'm talking about the BR steam locomotives so here you can find my new creation: the BR 66-002! As always I've placed front and back lights to increase the realism of this model Now enjoy the video and the pictures: That's all... Quote
Hey Joe Posted September 22, 2013 Posted September 22, 2013 Hey, what a beauty! Thanks for sharing. Joe Quote
JopieK Posted September 22, 2013 Posted September 22, 2013 You are on a MOCcing-spree again LEGO Train 12 Volts ;) The motor is in the red car I suppose? It runs very smoothly, better than an Emerald class train I think. Maybe an improvement: narrow heat shrink tube could hide the legs of your LEDs. I like the way you use the 1x1 clip with a 3mm LED. I also use SMD LEDs and very thin (earplug like) two wire cables to connect LEDs now and then. Quote
zephyr1934 Posted September 22, 2013 Posted September 22, 2013 Yet another fantastic steamer crammed with way too much detail, great build! Quote

The motors are in the red wagon behind the locomotive (that run really fast!) Thanks also for the tip about the tubes used to hide the wires! Quote
King Aragorn Posted September 26, 2013 Posted September 26, 2013 Another beautiful steam engine LT12V! Quote
