Hello

I have read along after over a year here in this forum, and all the builders and engineers and the phantasmic ideas have inspired me to an own MOC. Now I want to introduce my first finalized MOC.

Template for my MOC is the heavy-duty truck FAUN L908, which was built in the period from 1957 to 1960 mainly for use with the German Bundeswehr. Here it is!

All bricks are legal LEGO-Stuff, ecept the tires!

Technical data:

1x PF XL-motor (drive)

1x PF servo-motor (steering)

1x M-motor (winch; rear)

2x PF IR-receiver

2x PF LED-Lights

1x PF bb 8878

Dimensions:

width: 155 mm

height: 188 mm

length: 475 mm

weight: 2.250 gr

parts: ca. 2.600

construction time: ca. 6 month

Details:

- 6x6 drive

- 3x pendular suspension

- hingeable bonnet

- fake-8V-engine

- to fold out spare tire

- motor driven winch (rear)

- platform with reversible side panels

- trailer hitch (front & rear)

- rear electrical connections for trailer (WIP)

The third party tires are Mickey Thompsons 1,5" Baja MTZ Scale-Tires on rims 56908.

Here is an appetizer:

Many thanks for the nice comments. :classic:

No I have used the rims in their original form. The inner diameter is about 40 mm and the tires fit perfectly on the rims.

Just amazing! :grin_wub: The only way it could be better is if I was Lego size sitting in the seat! :head_back:

Wow, So detailed...

And those tyres are perfect in your MOC

Somewhere I read that the TLG is the number one world maker of tyres by number yet they only make those lame balloons. worse yet those are shrinked version of the old 8466 tyres

Fantastic. I love the military look it's got. Great little tires, too.

Little tires? :snicker:

Cusoo for new TLG tyres?
