Jason C. Hand Posted July 20, 2013 (edited) Alright, I brick-built a cave troll from Lord of the Rings. It uses design elements from models made by hopeso009 here @ Eurobricks, and a IvonO over at LEGO Universe Creations Lab. The troll has articulation at its wrists, elbows, biceps, shoulders, arms and legs. The claws on its hands can also move front and back. Legs are on ball joints and can move back and forth, left and right (provided that you move the arms out of the way). Also, the head can tilt back for some dynamic roaring poses! SheepEater Posted July 21, 2013 Pretty cool. I like how you kept him minifig scale. Added to index. but lego has already made a Cave troll Bigfig. ( as I call them ) ... so?
Jason C. Hand Posted July 21, 2013 Pretty cool. I like how you kept him minifig scale. Added to index. ... so? @UberlegoTV: Yes, I know. The part(s) for the LotR cave troll still aren't available in LDD format, and I wanted to build this bad boy ever since seeing hopeso009's epic beast (!) Also, the big-fig troll already in LDD isn't really cutting it In the meantime, I may remix the troll and upload the result for everyone. @SheepEater: Thanks.
