Star Wars Magnets

Hi there!

I have a question about the Lego Star Wars magnets: Are the minifigs like regular minifigs but with some interior magnet, are they regular minifigs but "glued" to a brick with a magnet or...?

The 3-packs are regular figures fused to magnet bricks (and torso to legs, but any rotateable part is removable). I'm not sure how they do the newest ones (single magnet with circular backdrop) but I'm sure they are also secured as a whole (again, heads, hair, armor, arms and accessories probably break free).

Certain 3-packs were released as perfectly functional, non glued figures on the same brick, but that's a few years back. The ones I have (all non glued):

I got the new one and I am curious about how to take it, the thing that holds them back is a screw like thing that goes through the cape, but we will see
