becauseBATMAN Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 (edited) This MOC originally started out as "Tony Stark's Laboratory" (instructions provided by Lego Club). Half-way through, I decided to make some modifications because I did not have all the required pieces. Next, I decided to expand my modified Lab / Hall of Armors by adding a hanger-style, build-and-repair setting for the HulkBuster Mk. 2 (World War Hulk version). My HulkBuster Mk. 2 is not an exact replica of the original, but I am happy with the inspired-look. Towards the right of the HulkBuster Mk. 2, I added a small display of 4 more armors. This MOC is far from done and is still a work-in-progress. I'll be going out later today to buy some model paint to customize a few of the iron man helmets for color-match and I'll paint in arc-reactor chest pieces for my customs. I will also need to raise the walls a little bit more - I did not expect the HulkBuster to be so tall... but I believe it is accurate to scale when looking back at the World War Hulk comics. Enjoy! XimenaPaulina Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 I like the way you expanded the "Iron Man's Lab" instructions from TLG into a larger Hall of Armor, nice to see also variations in your Iron Man suits, I see lots of nice usage of minifig parts from different themes (CMF Robot head, Galactic Marine shoulder piece). The Hulk Buster does look like one badass machine, though probably a bit large? (but against the Hulk, the bigger/bulkier/stronger, the better). Too bad the images don't do justice to the quality of your MOC. Hope you find a way to take better pics soon! Quote
Cammo Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 Really nice! I'll probably wait until the videogame maybe they will have some great ideas as well. But this is no doubt the best Hall of Armors MOC on this website. Quote

There are actually a few more armors that need to be displayed, I'll try to complete another level today if I have time. I agree, the HulkBuster could go down a half-inch or so honestly. Better pics will come soon! Quote
commodore_legolas Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 Well that was fast! Looks nice! The HB does look a bit bulky, but the rest is very good! I look forward to seeing your customs! (By the way, Testors is a very nice paint to use on Lego.) Quote
