Snowspeeder Pilot Posted March 9, 2013 Posted March 9, 2013 (edited) Hello Chaps, I hope you can help me on this, I am trying to place a bicycle on a tile but it's not possible. Do you know how? Do I need a special brick or something? Thanks in advance. Image Edited March 9, 2013 by Calabar : Oversized Image converted in Text Link. Maximum size allowed is 800x600 pixel. Quote
Calabar Posted March 9, 2013 Posted March 9, 2013 Try using a scaffolding. The trick consists in selecting the bycycle toghether with another piece that you can move freely. Select both, move the other piece and the bycycle will be moved with it. I converted your oversized image in a text link and changed the title of the topic with a more significative one. Quote
Dhivael Posted March 9, 2013 Posted March 9, 2013 my first thought was instead of a tile, use a jumper with a 1x1 plate? Quote
Luke_likes_Lego Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 Hi Snowspeeder Pilot, I think Calabar's answer applies to Lego Digital Designer (LDD) Dhivael's to real bricks 'n' studs. Anyway, if it's the skinny wheeled bicycle you're talking about, I think you'll have more luck with a: 1x2 (Radiator) Grille / Tile, Modified 1 x 2 Grille among the tiles. The tyre should fit snugly nicely, but not too tightly between the fins. Good luck, LLL Quote
Calabar Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 @Luke_likes_Lego You are true, I supposed Snowspeeder Pilot was asking help for LDD because the image seemed an LDD screenshot and because it is a typical difficulty for LDD builders. Let's wait the he will clarify the situation (and if necessary I'll edit the thread's title again). Another solution in LDD could be to place a 2x2 plate under the bicycle, because the bicycle has a "hook" thought to fit among studs. Once placed the bicycle replace the plate with the tile. It should work if LDD has correctly implemented this connection. Quote

I checked and it does not work in LDD: bicycle 73537 will not fit onto a plate with studs (such as 3022) like it does in real life . Could this be a bug? Quote
Calabar Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 Oh, ok, forget it then! Yes, it seems a bug, or a misconnection at least. Quote
Snowspeeder Pilot Posted March 11, 2013 Author Posted March 11, 2013 Hello Guys, thank you so much for your help! Yes, I am trying to find the solution on this on LDD. Using your tips, I did this. Then, I move all to the place that I need, I deleted the parts and this is it. Quote
