MOSAIC: David Bowie as the Thin White Duke

The mosaic is built using stacked trans clear plates on top of a black plate base. The image itself peaks at 5 plates high. These areas can be seen in the collar, lapel and some areas of the face.

This shows a the contouring a little better.

Be careful, facial details don't pick up that well using this technique. You want close ups.

That is really awesome. It turned out spot-on.

I love the layered effect to give it depth and the clear trans and black to give that look instead of full-on white.

I doubt I will do one, but I'd love to try my hand eventually.
