TIE/I MOC Help needed

Hey all!

I'm working on a UCS size TIE Interceptor MOC, and I'm looking for an alternative for the very rare (and expensive) original windscreen:

I was surprised to see there was very little alternative for that piece, only other transparent colors it comes in are trans blue, trans green, and trans neon green:

There is a part that comes with some aqua themes, but also in trans blue and trans green

The only other available and cheap part that would fit the description is this:

But I'm just not very satisfied with it.

Can anyone suggest any other alternatives?

I would suggest a brick-built version with droid arms attached to clips. The only backside with this is that it doesn't have 'glass', so the cockpit will be open. Hope this helps!

maybe you could use the cheap version with the printing from the republic gunship?

Go with brickbuilt, you can make a better one yourself. Better than that printed piece anyway. Use droid arms, flagpoles, rods, whatever.

I tried that, but it's just to oval and doesn't really flow right with the rest of the cockpit. Also it's 2 stud too small so it ends up sticking out from the middle awkwardly :)

Yeah, I'll probably go with that. Do you have any examples I could shamelessly steal from?
