MacK Posted August 12, 2012 That's very nice whitswj, it certainly fits with the rest of the M-tron theme .
Algernon Posted August 12, 2012 Nice! It definitely suits M-tron, especially considering most of the theme revolves around moving large crates... I guess they do need a place to put them, after all. Really great build.
soccerkid6 Posted August 12, 2012 Great MTron base! I like the way you used the slopes and inverted slops to match the official MTron designs The radar dish and crane are also nice touches
Si-MOCs Posted August 12, 2012 Nice MOC! I love the whole diamond shape to it. Though it just begs for a black background. As mentioned the inclusion of all the little boxes are nice (you have a lot!) as well as the the blue one is cool. Like many of your builds - there's one part that just really speaks to me - and again it's that wonderful platform. I don't know if it's the contrast of the colours, or if I'm just naturally drawn to bley but I really like it - that fence in particular is really nicely used! Though if I could make one change, it would be the sloped edges. The over all shape is cool, but it feels it's lacking a bit of detail in those supports. But over all very cool moc. (and you need to add some sort of ship!)
Henchmen4Hire Posted August 15, 2012 Cool idea, always fun to see the less glamorous buildings in space. They can't all be space headquarters and space casinos afterall, those minifigs need storage space too!
DraikNova Posted August 15, 2012 I love the idea how to store the containers and the framework is awesome.
Canticleer blues Posted August 16, 2012 This is a great M:Tron base, whitswj! The use of early 90's-era parts and simple but multilayered shapes really allows it to fit in with the classic sets. I really like that outer platform- its 'mesh' style fits the industrial feel of the base very well, what with the similar support pieces in the construction of the base itself and the well-utilized space of the storage area.
