I'm looking to buy some small neodymium magnets to help pull longer trains, and I was wondering if anyone has experience with this site, and more specifically this type of magnet:

They are nice small and cheap and still very much stronger than the standard LEGO magnets, so they seem like a good pick.

No experience with that particular brand, but the Lee Valley ones (in Canada) work quite well, sanwiched between the couplers or on the rear. The're small enough to still allow for rotation, and I haven't had seperation issues with them and quite large (6 car Super Chief) trains. (I think on the first 2 cars is all I found I needed, but I have a stack for whenever I need one)

Lee Valley Magnets

That's what I'm using. Any of the real ones are super strong, I have some of the 1" dia ones and they are bear to remove from steel containers :)

This could be really valuable!

Wheel friction and magnet strength is a huge issue for 12v-trains:

- lowering friction (by using 9v wheels instead of 12v) and

- using stronger magnets could be a good solution here.

Could you please post some pictures? Thx.
