I bought 2 Lego sets when I was on holiday in South Korea and was surprised to find that it came with a Lego storage container when I opened the box. There was a large 4 compartment container inside the 4205 police umimog set and a medium 2 compartment container inside Olivia's house set. Do all the sets in Korea come with promotional storage containers?

I only found out after I opened the box when I arrived back home in Malaysia yesterday. I was initially surprised to find my police unimog set more filled up than usual as usually City sets have alot of Danish air. To see it came with storage container was an even bigger surprised for me. Darn, should have bought more sets from Korea, but my budget was limited. :sing: Not to mention some large sets are cheaper than in Malaysia!

The storage container still inside its plastic bag.

Promo tag on the plastic bag.

Description on the plastic bag. I think the large K logo is the Korean safety standard logo.

Some interesting info about Vigor Precision Limited; it is a company specializing in injection molding for gearboxes for toys. So it is likely some Lego parts are made by this company as there is the words "China" on the box of my Olivia's house and police Unimog set.

Interesting link I found when I googled this company: http://plasticsnews.com/china/english/headlines-arc2.html?id=1321912078

Vigor is making other plastics-related investments, including building a smaller new factory at its Dongguan campus to meet orders from Danish toy maker Lego, adding cleanroom manufacturing for medical products and doing microinjection molding.

I had these to in my SW sets that I bought from an ebay seller based in Korea.

One time I got the container, the next time I got this 6 piece Lego box that you can put together and the last time I got a free promo Polybag in it!

12 months ago, I saw a fire boat set from Korea that had 2 lots of foam type pieces to make storage trays.

The outside of these pieces were yellow with large Lego logos. The pieces linked together and were held together by 'sticky' pieces for the floor.

Maybe it is a requirement of the South Korean govt for building toys to be sold with a container for storage?

I received a Superman Vs Power Armor Lex set from South Korea last week, and it also had a small plastic container, and those foam "puzzle" pieces to make a box out of (that brickie mentioned).

And like brickie, I thought that at least the plastic container was some government requirement, although it was not large enough to actually contain all the pieces in the set.

Does anyone know if other construction toys sold in South Korea also comes with storage containers?
