Xyver Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 In the hills surrounding Xyver's Estate, watchtowers keep an eye out for anyone entering the land. FRONT RIGHT SIDE FRONT/LEFT Quote
lightningtiger Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 Interesting SNOT plating there 'Xyver', I do like the top section though. Like people have said to me about my watchtower....a little greenery might help it along a bit. Brick On 'Xyver'.......Avalonia Forever ! Quote
Captain BeerBeard Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 Some tiles would go good on those studded wall corners for a nice brick effect. Quote
Xyver Posted November 23, 2011 Author Posted November 23, 2011 Thanks for the comments. I only started this last night and finished it just before work this morning, so it is still a work in progress. I'm using SNOT due to a lack of available pieces more than for effect, but it does look better in person, the photos didn't turn out that well. I had thought of putting tiles over the sides to make it look a bit more bricklike but haven't got there yet. Tiling and some extra greenery is my aim for tonight. Quote
Xyver Posted November 24, 2011 Author Posted November 24, 2011 Added some greenery and covered many of those unsightly studs, it looks better now FRONT LEFT FRONT RIGHT CAVE ENTRANCE Some people just never take there job seriously... Quote
Captain BeerBeard Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 Your tower is looking really nice! Good job Quote
Si-MOCs Posted November 25, 2011 Posted November 25, 2011 The white back drop makes it look a lot nicer. The lime green highlights are cool. Nice job. Quote
de Gothia Posted November 25, 2011 Posted November 25, 2011 This tower is great. Fun to see some other techniques being used! I agree that the tower has improved from the first pics.. Some advices though. If you add plates in green, brown etc to the landscape you avoid the bulky look on it! But I understand if this is a question about bricks missing! Great work!! Quote
