minifig_erik Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 Hi folks Not sure if this is the correct place to post things like this, being new to the forums but I'd like to introduce my new Lego story 'The Wonderful Life of Farmer Wilf' please feel to post as many comments as you like, I'd also like to hear comments as to where you think the story should go Erik Quote
bootz Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 Farmer wilf bears an uncanny resemblance to the detective in my town. Perhaps he runs into a tractor salesman at the farmer's disco, but not before he does some disco dancing. Quote
lightningtiger Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 At least it was a clever piece of work there 'minifig_erik', though would he go to the disco dressed totally nerd-like ? Brick On ! Quote
minifig_erik Posted November 14, 2011 Author Posted November 14, 2011 (edited) Hi folks Thanks for the nice comments. @lightningtiger. The tweed outfit is something that farmers in the UK can often be seen wearing, they think it makes them look cool. Edited November 14, 2011 by minifig_erik Quote

lightningtiger Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 Oh, this is a wonderful and humour filled story you are crafting 'minifig_erik'.....let me guess judging by the female's dress sense....they were dancing to ABBA right ? Perhaps also he could have asked to take the fully assembled tractor from the guy's showroom.....but these tweed wearing guys you know ? Brick On Write On Laugh On 'minifig_erik' ! Quote
minifig_erik Posted November 20, 2011 Author Posted November 20, 2011 Todays episode - I'm sure my mum and dad will recognise it - its the same quote the car salesman used to convince my mum she should buy their new car Thanks to dr_spock and toadtorrent for the wonderful comments. I'm really enjoying writing it. It's great fun and as I don't have that much lego I really have to try hard to make the scenes work @Lightningtiger - you could be right about the Abba music. My wife is a big Abba fan and regularly forces me to watch Mamma Mia - Maybe that was my inspiration :) Quote
lightningtiger Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 Funny, oh, that poor guy can't win a trick eh ? Hope he doesn't fall out the back of the ambulance on the way to hospital ? Keep them coming 'minifig_erik' ! Quote
