lego-maniac Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 (edited) One more time Batsy do not drive carefully. After crashing is car after the last opus of Joel Schumacher in 1997, Alfred decide to build a new version of the batmobile. Not so far of the original "old school" version, he added military looks that inspired Nolan for the futur Tumbler 7 years later. "This introduction is just a way to explain the overall look of the moc, don't read it in another way ;)" All parts are studed, "no" illegal build. The wheels are reversed tire on a round brick 2X2 with round inverted tile 2X2 . All wheels can turn ! Hope you'll enjoy ! Edited November 9, 2011 by lego-maniac Quote
K-Nut Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 This is probably the best Batmobile I've ever seen! The detail and military look put it over the edge! Great work! Quote
Toadtorrent Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 Great use of the black snake...love it! Quote
The Batman Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 (edited) This is a great little MOC, I'll definitly be taking down the scum of Gotham in this batmobile !!! No but seriously great MOC, one Question though, How did you manage to get that 2x2 round tile piece on the wheels ??? [EDIT]: I know you already state how you did it, but is there any way you could provide a picture showing how you got it to sit like that ??? Please Edited November 9, 2011 by The Batman Quote
Si-MOCs Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 hehe 'opus' Great build - totally makes me feel like a suped up armoured Burton-mobile. Quote

Please I've use this part stude on this part with a reversed tire around. The wheels are linked with a classic technical bar. If it's still not clear I'll make a pic. Sl-mocs : yes "opus" is ironique I do not enjoy Shumasher versions. I think the best of the 90' are Burton's movie Thanks guys for your comment ;) Quote
The Batman Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 Ah I understand now what you did, sounds simple yet looks great !!! Quote

Rocketbilly Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 (edited) Superb! perhaps the best minifig scale Batmobile I've seen - I'm a fan of the Tumbler, and I'm a fan of the Burton Batmobile - and this is a brilliant mix of the two, in my opinion. The detailing is just superb. My favourite parts are the snakes and the use of the flick fire missile holder pieces - oh, and the abundance of droid arms - they're amongst my favourite pieces to use.
