But as a friendly reminder, let us not make these tags the sole reason to join the community builds, I suggest to focus on putting effort on making a solid contribution to the community build, and let these minor tags just be the 'icing on the cake'.

Hay KielDaMan, I asked APCin befor but havent got an reply to my post but are we going to post all contributions for the community build somewhere in one topic. I would like to see all the entries in the one place, a list of all the builds and links to their origianl posts. Maybe pick the best posted image of each entry and link that pic to the post. What do you think?

I got this idea for a community build the other day while musing on whether LEGO Star Wars could have a display of its own at the next big Eurobricks Event. Say, I don't know, around 300x300cm in size.

Design a large scene in LDD (such as a battle from the Clone Wars), then split it into portions to be built with real bricks by teams of builders. These builders should then bring the built portions together at the event to construct one display to be presented...

So are there any plans for an ROTJ CB? We could just keep going with these movie themed CBs and do the prequels as well! Once we run out of movies, we could have one for the Clone Wars.

The first community build was really great with lots of fantastic entries, I really enjoyed following that CB back then. With that, I'll consider handing out the tags to the previous participants. (It's all part of grand scheme of Star Warsifying the Eurobricks Universe. )

What's this about, and what's with the cutoff dates? Surely the end of one of these doesn't mean no one can ever post a MOC in here again from a particular movie...

This is simply a topic where we could discuss everything related to Star Wars Community Builds, and as a reference for all previous/completed CBs.

The cut-off dates are decided by the Community Build leader. ACPin set a cutoff date since he's planning on leading multiple CBs, so it doesn't make sense to submit an entry that is already months passed. And I'm not sure what you meant about not being able to post a MOC from the movies again?!? Everyone is free to post their MOCs here in the forum regardless of whether it's part of a community build or not.

Community Building is NOT about tags. Remember the true essence of joining a community build - that is sharing one's creations for athe fun and spirit of a common-themed group build.

But a community build distinguishes itself as a distinct special activity wherein different builders agree to build and share MOCs under a common theme with an option of completion within a specified amount of time, whereas a normal/regular build is an individual effort at the builder's own time and theme of choice. EB has been witness to a lot of CBs before here, from the current Historical Guild CB to the three (and soon to be four) LDD Relay Community Builds. I hope that clarifies things.

Glad you liked it! I see it too, for some reason I made them all the same way in Photoshop yet the ANH one seems to have the clearest image. Probably because the other two have more images fit on the template and therefore resulted in lower resolution? I'll try to look at it and probably fix it later.

Hmmmm, I skimmed over the topic and downloaded/saved all the posted builds on that thread, I might've probably missed it. If I have the time I'll try to include yours (but that would take some re-layouting).

Well, I personally chose that pic since I think the view is better on that shot showing the guts of the Taun-taun. I'll probably keep it that way.

I split each of the Venator and ESB composite images into two, so the images are better now I think.

I still don't know why you guys don't title the image tags. I have no idea what the majority of them are for...I can't be the only one who is in the same boat. If you can't title them for a hover explanation, maybe a page explaining all the tags and what they're for. I'm not just referring to these new tags, but all tags in general.
