kermisfan112 Posted August 31, 2011 Posted August 31, 2011 (edited) Hello everyone on Eurobricks! I make carnival rides with lego. The rides are fully transportable. Here are some of my pictures. First of all, I'd like to post a build-up-report from my first ride, the Deca Dance First of all, the ride arrives as a trailer Then the ride is being driven to place Then the "diamond" is connected and the red/white lines are removed Then the wheels are being driven away the the ride is being placed correctly Here's a picture of the wheels Next the arms are placed correctly Then the rides becomes round next the rest of the gondolla's is being placed Next the floor is being built up Ready The ticket booth's are being made ready Now it's time for the poles Now for the fences Now the decoration's are being placed And now it's ready Here is the complete transport And another total picture These models are still under construction, so they arren't finnished yet. First, the Showtime Next, the Intoxx First there are some transportation pictures. When fully built up it looks like this Your comments are welcome. Edited June 21, 2012 by kermisfan112 Indexed Quote
treeboy Posted September 1, 2011 Posted September 1, 2011 Only two things scare me and one of them is nuclear war. Carnies. Circus folk. Nomads, you know. Smell like cabbage. Small hands. All seriousness aside, nice work! Quote
lightningtiger Posted September 1, 2011 Posted September 1, 2011 AWESOME MOC's 'kermisfan112', the Deca Dance ride is jut too much and with such detail too ! Brick On Ride On ! Quote
kermisfan112 Posted September 1, 2011 Author Posted September 1, 2011 Thanks for your comments :D One trailer for the Intoxx still has to be made, so some parts that are on a trailer are laying on the table And here is the testvideo of the Showtime It's just a test video so it swings zo low. It also shocks a little bit, but that's beacause operating the model and filming at the same time are hard.. Your comments are welcome. Quote
blueandwhite Posted September 1, 2011 Posted September 1, 2011 Nice work. I've seen some nice carnival rides built out of LEGO but the fact you've actually built the various trucks to transport them takes the cake! This is one of the most original set of MOCs I've seen in a few years. While I'm not too keen on a few of the modified pieces (the silver baseplates in particular), the overall quality of this MOC is hard to ignore. Do you have any video footage of the "Deca Dance" in operation. I really like the setup for this MOC and I would love to see it in motion. These MOCs are certainly a great way to introduce yourself to the Eurobricks forums. Keep them coming ! Quote
22kane Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 Wow, those are incredible! They look like the real thing. I see these trucks out in Philly all summer from the endless amount of carnivals. I wasn't expecting them to be so prototypical and they are. I wish Lego would release something like this, that would be really cool. Amazing work!! Quote
Toadtorrent Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 Very clever design...great colours. It looks great! Quote
kermisfan112 Posted September 6, 2011 Author Posted September 6, 2011 Thanks for the comments This is a ML-Cad design for the Crazy Beach Party Here are some pictures I took on one of my expositions. Hey, that's me Your comments are welcome Quote

lorax Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 Wow, these are insane. Really clever and look like the real versions of these types of rides. Quote

kermisfan112 Posted January 23, 2012 Author Posted January 23, 2012 It's been a while since the last update, so I thought I'd make a update. After some time, the floor of the Crazy Beach Party is done. I think the ride looks better with the floors. And this is the truck for the ride. In the next update I will post pictures of the Magic and my new Booster. Quote
meyerc13 Posted January 24, 2012 Posted January 24, 2012 These are really amazing. I can't tell you how many hours I've spent admiring them. These combine two things kids love - LEGO and carnivals. What still amazes me is is that they are not only functional but portable. I just wanted to tell you what a great job you've done on these, true masterpieces. Quote
TheLonelySquireOfGothos Posted January 24, 2012 Posted January 24, 2012 These are really astounding! The addition of printed decals really takes them to the next level, IMO. Keep up the great work! Quote
kermisfan112 Posted June 21, 2012 Author Posted June 21, 2012 It's been a while since I last updated here, but I've certainly done a lot since then, so here's a mega update. Trucks for the Magic: Scania 133 DAF 95 Testvideo of the Magic: The new Booster: Transport Quote
lostdriveway Posted June 22, 2012 Posted June 22, 2012 Your work is amazing! I'm currently working on a 6-wide circus train, but after seeing these I might have to go 8-wide to add some rides! Once again awesome work! Quote
kermisfan112 Posted July 24, 2012 Author Posted July 24, 2012 Another update of the Magic. The ride itself is almost finished, all that needs to be done are some small decorations. The transport is almost finished too, al that needs to be built for that is a DAF truck. Transport Quote
kermisfan112 Posted August 9, 2012 Author Posted August 9, 2012 Last week I sorted out my Lego, and I built some stuff with it. This is the transport of the XenoX Action I'm going to rebuilt the ride itself, so I can put some motors in it. Comments are welcome. Quote
kermisfan112 Posted August 23, 2012 Author Posted August 23, 2012 Time for a transport update. The transport of the Deca Dance has changed, the DAF trucks are gone, now there are Scania's The Magic transport is finished, now all that's left to do are some minor things to the ride itself. Quote
