BrickForge has just released some really cool screen printed products. Included: Soldier Helmet, Military Helmet, Pauldron, Military Shield.

“I’ve been customizing some futuristic designs lately and thought it would be neat to come up with some fun graphics for our line of BF products. The Skullz represent an anarchist gang bent on wreaking havoc, and the Bomb Squad is a division of a more organized & heavy-handed government committed to restoring order in a chaotic world.” - Armothe

Apply some of their Sci-Fi peel ‘n stick, die cut decals and create some pretty neat factions for your modern or futuristic layouts.

Also available in the store are some new screen printed Acoustic Guitars, which feature various tribal prints.

So stop reading this and purchase them now in the store!

Also be on the lookout for some brand new molds!

These look really nice! I especially like the helmet and shield with the skull, and the torso of the Bomb Squad figure. The items will certainly be useful for post-apocalyptic creations. I'm looking forward to more of these detailed pieces.

I must admit these are nice and I am definitely looking out for new molds :sweet:

Also with the peel 'n stick decals I don't understand?

They're black prints on a clear sticker yet you can put them over printed torsos is this correct?

Or can you only place them over blank torsos?

I must say that I really like these new items, especially the bomb squad soldier. I know that I'll buy a few of these.

I really wish BrickForge would restock items quicker, there so bloody slow! :hmpf_bad:

I don't know if this was posted yet, but Mariann Asanuma shows the new BF molds on her blog: http://modelbuilding...rge-prototypes/

Yes Mariann has already posted that topic here a couple of weeks back (a few topics below the first page).

These custom printed elements are certainly a welcome development and they'll definitely be useful post-apoc and military-based MOCs. Thanks for sharing Omi!

Yes they come in black, silver, and gold. You can place them on blank torsos, or printed ones to make unique combos.

Sorry I still do not understand after reading the description.

It says that it's print on a clear backing then in the description it says it can conceal print?

That's the part that's confusing me as I'm wondering how that works?

Armothe tends to reuse descriptions from other items. The description for the black, silver, and gold sci-fi decals is originally the description for the Roman Army decals and Torso/Shield decals (the colored ones). They cover up print as they are opaque. The Sci-fi ones are the ones printed on clear backing.

Sorry for the confusion.

Thank You Omicron, because of you and this thread I just had to go place another order. It is your fault.

Serious, thanks for the heads up. Me and my son both wanted some and have ordered.

Thanks Omi.

That makes more sense than I could make of it.

So I guess I'm going to have to find a few blank torsos now :classic:

The Bomb Squad shield is pretty darn spiffy.

Though (un)fortunately I think I'd only get one or two for the bomb squad, they would have been nice to outfit entire urban ground force with them. - Anyone know if it's easy to remove the text ?

and on a unrelated note - what happen the to the UN helmet? or did I miss the boat? :(

Brasso or an eraser can do the trick. If you plan on using brasso, use tape to cover the parts you don't wanna remove.

As in regards to the UN Helmet, that was a special thing. And it isn't coming back.

Hi guys,

As Omi said - these particular decals are really meant for a blank torso. I went ahead and changed the descriptions to avoid any further confusion. Perhaps you guys could vote on which type of decals you like better - clear back or white back?
