lego-maniac Posted June 12, 2011 Posted June 12, 2011 (edited) Hi all I'm glad to present our latest creation (me and my son) He has build all the 26 micro ship and as he wants to present them to a convention (Fanabrique 2011) I've decided to find an original idea to present it . So here is the result : First I've build 5 independant pentagone studed on a turntable : then, I've put technical bar to stuck the micro ships: And for more fun, I've motorized the installation : If you want to see it in action, here is a video I'll take time to present all the 26 ship soon, I promise ! comments are welcome ! EDIT / Here is a where all the 26 microscale can be seen Edited June 13, 2011 by lego-maniac Quote
simonjedi Posted June 12, 2011 Posted June 12, 2011 That is a really cool idea. I like how you've made micro figures of the pilots for the ships. I don't understand the title though? Quote
Bricks2000 Posted June 12, 2011 Posted June 12, 2011 Very nice, Lego-Maniac! An MOC that holds 26 MOC's at once, hmmm... Quote

XimenaPaulina Posted June 12, 2011 Posted June 12, 2011 Another excellent father-son collaoration lego-maniac! The turntable idea is truly an ingenious way to present the nicely-done SW micro-builds. Great job to both of you! Quote
Mr Man Posted June 12, 2011 Posted June 12, 2011 Now this is the Advent Calendar we should be getting . Well done lego-maniac and son. Quote
streifen Posted June 12, 2011 Posted June 12, 2011 the MOC display stand is as as the moc SW vehicles!! so when u "on" the motor, the display will self-rotate? Quote
lego-maniac Posted June 12, 2011 Author Posted June 12, 2011 Thanks all for your comments ! The title is not really understandable but it's due to my poor english, sorry .... Here is few pictures to present the "how to" for the pentagone. The first level is studed on the plate by this way : And the 4 other level are independant and the most problème was to keep the shape of the pentagone. I've do not find better solution than this one : The idea to have 5 pentagone each independant is to dispatch better all the 26 ships and to obtain something like this : Hope this pics could give some help for a pentagone build ! Masked Builder Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 You've come up with a very useful application for displaying the ships. I'll half to see if I can use something like this myself. I can't wait to see the ships in detail! Quote
