Minifigures

Gungan

About Gungan dreamed long ago, when I learned that they will leave in January 2011, I knew immediately that I must buy this set with these beautiful minifigurkami ^ _ ^

In this set of Gungan much better than the older and more like the original, but the shape of their heads is still the same and only differs from the old stain!

Jar Jar Binks - Jar Jar Binks

Here's how legovtsy performed this wonderful character!

Jar Jar Binks sininkimi armed with grenades from the first episode

Behind minifigurka too beautiful and torso from behind a picture

Gungan Soldier - Gungan Warrior

This figure, too, I really liked, such as beautiful, but differs in color of the torso and arms, he is armed with the Energy shield and spear!

Droids

Droids are the main striking force of the confederation, which were specially made for the Battle of Naboo!

In a set of eight conventional and two pilots, do not understand why two pilots would be better to put one kamandira, and then who will lead the eight-droid!

All eight droids together

And the droids from different angles

Droid pilots

Too ordinary droids do not they usually not only the torso of the blue color compared with ordinary!

The general form of a set of

Platoon Attack Craft

Since s called platform which carries the droid!

Front

I want to note that this platform has a lot of rare items rare color!

Back

Stand with droids

It consists of two plates that contain four droid

Let's consider one of them, the second is the same

Thanks for the review, although this was one of my first 2011 sets.

Some nice dark tan(?) colors, the Gungan warrior with an awesome shield and also eight blaster rifles. One of the better sets.

Great review thanks RussianBear. I love this set the only thing wrong with it is the tan colour of it, it would look so much better in Dark Brown, or Separatist Blue (Penguins MOD wasn't it?) also it is great value at £20 for so many BD, now if only one pilot was a security, or commander droid :sweet:.

A very good review, Russian Bear. I have the set myself and must say that you did a good job in making it look appealing.

Regarding the set itself, i like it for several reasons. Pricing atm is good, the vehicle is simple but has good and big bricks to build customs and of course the lot is a good army builder. Gungans are fairly rare these days and the figs have nice moulds (i still can't forget the chocolate fountain joke :sweet: ).

1912 minifigs? Either I misread something or that's a typo.

Ignoring pieces, the box has about $2 per minifig and would be a great cheap way to build up Ep1 army

Nice review, RussianBear. This is definitely a good set that I mean to pick up soon.

Probably the online translator's problem.

You mean the frontpage? The staff has guidelines regarding frontpaging and we normally highlight only the first reviews of new sets or those that are of significant high quality so I suggest you don't think much about it and just continue contributing positively to the forum, ok?

This set comes with 12 minifigures same as the battle of endor.

I will get this as I do not have jar jar brinks, pilot driods and gan gan soldiers.

Although I would prefer more gan gan soldiers rather than battle driods.

This set is a must buy as LEGO rarely have 12 minifigs.

I like the shield also.

Well keep in mind that battle droids are cheaper to produce than other minifigs.

I would have to agree with you here LEGO AFOL, this is an awsome set just due to the 12 figs you get with it for the price. The new Gungans are much better than their first run with great looking prints. Over all the droid carrier its self was fun to build and looks and dose its job. Would love more sets to come out like this but as the Doctor said in the previous post battle droids are cheap to make so they can put more into a box with out extremly pushing up the price.

Man the battle droids are connon fodder and need as may as you can get your hands on for accurite displays. The battle of Naboo had battle droids way out numbering the Gungans so I think the 2:10 ratio is correct.

Nice review of a pretty good set.

I think your translator messed up though, you described Jar-Jar as a "wonderful" character when surely you meant a "much hated, annoying, awful" character.

I'm sure he meant the minifig was beautiful.

I quite like this set. I've purchased a few from eBay and internationally at basically the same cost that a standard battle pack is here. Again the detail of the 2011 minifigs are awesome as seen with the gungans. Love the detailed pics in this review, thanks!
