QQS Posted April 28, 2011 Posted April 28, 2011 (edited) hello there! Today, I'd like to present You my newest creation - Arsus VI. I spent nearly 3 weeks on building it and 5 days on creating, editing photos and making movie. BRICKSHELF DEVIANART FLICKR Oryginally Arsus VI had to be similar, like his predecessor, Arsus V. As you can see, all Arsus mechas have similar metalic casing, green screens, searchlights between legs and very various weapons (see other Arsus models on my galleries). Shudder with fear, Q's and Stereofanian enemies! cockpit As you can see, there is a whole minifig inside the cockpit. I didn't take any photos of opening it, but the system is the same as in this my experimental creation: mechanical saw Good for hand-fighting. You can also use it, as normal tool - e.g. during the journey in jungle. maverick DTR500 flares Arsus VI architecture has some innovations, like maverick flares. They're usually hidden inside cockpit, but they could be always pulled out to destroy the target. plasma pistol QGB5 It really shoot - see the movie below... Ultrarex Pk machine gun Much more effective than QGB5, but it needs more time to be reloaded. It really shoot - see the movie below... weapons comparison Arsus modes I think it needs no comments :> you can also squashing a car by your hand :> fools, who thinks of winnig with Arsus VI... comparision to version V Mecha and minifig scale: bonuses Arsusa wip, arsus VI wip version (older versions) Arsus V - gallery Arctus - mecha fought with Arsus customs, made by MorderczyGroszek Arts: - Morderczy Groszek (ideas, grumbling, spiritual comfort, parts, accessories for minifig) - Legate Scimitar (ideas, stickers) - Sprinter (live-comment) - KMFL chat team (comments, support) - Sariel (main photo edited) That's all folks :) ! The_Box Posted April 28, 2011 Posted April 28, 2011 Purely amazing! any chance of posting instructions on how to make it? Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted April 29, 2011 Posted April 29, 2011 Whoa! That's one mean-looking figthing machine alright, I simply love the overall muscular look, it really gives this mech an intimidating aura of a brute force, and the opening pic of it crushing a car perfectly demonstrates that. Very well planned and designed, and better executed I must say, excellent work on this QQS! Quote
Fuzzylegobricks Posted April 29, 2011 Posted April 29, 2011 Very crazy and perfect use of pieces for this! I love its. Quote
lightningtiger Posted April 29, 2011 Posted April 29, 2011 Now that is what you call a Mech ! Oh and weapons, I like them - plasma pistol and machine gun. Excellent build 'QQS' and well keep on crashing creator sport cars ! Quote
QQS Posted April 29, 2011 Author Posted April 29, 2011 any chance of posting instructions on how to make it? That would be difficult' date=' but I can give you one, important tip: try to use this http://media.peeron.com/pics/inv/custpics/54271.1141286273.jpg bionicle part. Basically it's a gun using green balls as bullets. But instead of bullet, give there a minifig - IMO it's good idea, because it's holding on very secury. Next step, you have to build round it, use bionicle parts or whatever you want. Final step are legs and hands. And that should be all :> That's one mean-looking figthing machine alright, I simply love the overall muscular look, it really gives this mech an intimidating aura of a brute force Oh and weapons' date=' I like them - plasma pistol and machine gun. [/quote']thank you :) It's fighting machine, with machine guns which really works :> Very crazy and perfect use of pieces for this! Hah' date=' the basic idea was to use unused bionicle pieces and build something, which looks good. And I think it has been done :) keep on crashing creator sport cars ! hm... maybe a car-destructor mecha ;) ? Thank you all for commenting my MOC - as I said before, I worked on it very long time and now see that it was worth. Quote
Giovanne Posted April 29, 2011 Posted April 29, 2011 (edited) Very impressive MOC 'QQS'! A very good use of the BIONICLE, Knights Kingdom and other Technic parts. Keep up with the good work. Edited April 29, 2011 by Giovanne Quote
brickmack Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 Fantastic part usage all over. Great design. I can't help but think though that that is a really odd place for the machine gun. Quote
QQS Posted April 30, 2011 Author Posted April 30, 2011 A very good use of the BIONICLE' date=' Knights Kingdom and other Technic parts.[/quote']Thank you :> I've got much more: http://www.majhost.com/gallery/Kukus/WIP/dsc00972.jpg, there's only problem with free time. Fantastic part usage all over. Great design. I can't help but think though that that is a really odd place for the machine gun. Well, many people think the same way. But in many mechas, like in Goliath (Starcraft I) this solution is very common. And that's tradition in Arsus theme :> Of course, you can detach it in very simply way. Quote
